  1. Ahh this is interesting Mark. Yes, I am also looking at using 2nd & 3rd radius. I was hoping to get away with 2' wide for the boards, as I'm planning a busy off the beaton track branch line, with maybe a couple of CE sidings. It's rear storage I need more than anything so plenty of stock can be run. I shall continue my planning. Keep up the great work. Cheers, Anthony
  2. Excellent work Mark. What's the overall size of the layout? I'm slowly planning a small roundy roundy using set track curves (rad 2&3) Hoping to get away with 2' wide. Cheers, Anthony
  3. Loving the redstripes Peter. Always a joy to keep up to date with your thread. Cheers, Anthony
  4. Stunning work Tom. I remember viewing this also speaking with yourself at RM Web live a couple of years back. Really impressive. Cheers, Anthony

  7. Off the top of my head around 3 years? 88-91 roughly. Then went on to receive IC Mainline livery and named Derby Evening Telegraph. Cheers, Anthony
  8. Hello Kev Just come across your thread. So impressed and inspired to have ago at something similar in 2mm. Love the idea of units coming in, a little shunting going on at the rear and unit(s) departing. Fantastic! Have quite a few CE & suitable speedlink wagons in my collection also lots of 31s Your giving me ideas for a 'plank' Keep up the great work and I will be following with interest. Cheers, Anthony
  9. Excellent thread of an excellent layout. Currently enjoying your latest video Pendeford Yard Today No3 on your YouTube channel. The 86 sounds awesome, but I'm quite partial to the 85 that I have seen in previous videos. I hoping that one day 08601 will be released in 2mm... I have fond memories of her shunting around Bescot yard in the 90s. Mind you, I could always spray one up, when I find 5 minuets Working nights is great Cheers, Anthony
  10. Corrr that BR type 15 box Stunning Trev. I am waiting patiently for the Farish 2mm release... Will sit nicely on Sutton Park, and have just the spot for it. Cheers, Anthony
  11. Hello Peter. Its been a good few years since I last commented on your wonderful thread. Been doing some catching up over the past few weeks, and your layout still inspires me. Its good to be back on here. As always, I shall be following with interest. Cheers, Anthony
  12. Very well chief. I had a thoroughly good weekend. Layout and stock preformed faultlessly, received some great feedback, but more importantly I found a great chippy in the town! So that was Friday and Saturday's evening dinner sorted Cheers, Anthony
  13. Finally after years of lurcking, I have a layout thread...

    1. No Decorum

      No Decorum

Should that be "lurking" or should the "l" be an "f"?

  16. Was lovely to meet you Carl over the weekend also to finally see Oxbury in the flesh. I said it at Taunton and I shall say it again, Oxbury is absolutely stunning my friend. I wish I could of spent more time viewing, but as you know I was also exhibiting. Looking forward to seeing it again sometime in the near future. Also congratulations on winning 'Best Layout' Well deserved indeed Cheers, Anthony
  17. Looked an excellent trip Trev, may there be many more. Unfortunately I was busy playing trains in Taunton over the weekend or I may of leaped for this. I was however luckily enough to bag 884 on the 'coast' when in Loadhaul livery. 800 being a big winner though! I do remember 800 blasting through Rugby many moons ago. She nearly blew the glass (or what was left of it) from the station canopy as she took off! Cheers, Anthony

    EBay madness

I spotted this on Saturday evening......Making me wish i had not sold mine now!!! But there was not many made before Lima went bang in early 2000. There is always some silly sod that is willing to pay OTT just to have one.....I did see some time ago that the TFRB were fetching £125.00 each alone. Same goes for the Lima ScotRail Swoosh 156.....£200 and counting....... Happy eBaying Ps, may i add i got £100 for my Lima Fag packet rake!!!!!!! DAMN
  25. Had a good day at TINGS....Picked a few odds and ends :O)
