    31296 arrived yesterday safe and sound. Lightly factory weathered which is not too bad. Not sure if I will keep the number though. I have ordered a loksound decoder from legoman at DC kits which should arrive in a few days. Paul

    There was an N gauge layout at the Doncaster show a couple of years ago. This featured a viaduct in grey with all the surrounding buildings also in various shades of grey. I feel sure it appeared in a magazine. Paul

    The caravan club and the magazines recommend that your fully loaded van weighs no more than 85% of your tow cars kerb weight. On a handful of occasions I have seen small suv's and cross overs that are not really a match for the van they are towing. Paul

    When I was towing a caravan before we put it on a seasonal pitch I could reverse if I had the room. Any tight situations though it was easier to use the motor mover than spending ages going back and forth. The mover presses a drive wheel against the tyres allowing you to move the caravan by remote control. Paul
