Bought my 30th and last Platform 5 combined volume today, only really got it and the last couple out of slight curiousity over the modern railway which has now almost evaporated. Quite a difference from the first edition I bought in 1985!

apparently, I'm not to try to set fire to the house with my well used 16 year old iron suddenly devolping a fault and setting it's plug on fire. Fortunately, it was plugged into the bottom of the ironing board rather than the wall so I only need to replace that rather than a wall. (Mrs SG has been saying she wanted a new board for a while. Sabotage?)

Just got off the phone to Hermes,boy what a nightmare just to get through to them, chap at other end said there where posted through my letter box and i signed for them, one i have a small letter box,so do not know how he got two boxed loco through it, and i told him i never did sign for them!, they are by the sounds of it not going to do a thing about it.
