  1. So you can phone the shop and place an order?, i don't think i be driving up from Devon.
  2. Is this for real, and is it only customers that go in the shop or can you order by phone/PM?. Bit of a strange web page, you can not open anything listed, you only get the first page?.
  3. Each chemo bag cost £2000.00, my wife has three of these a day, where there from 09.30 till nearly 18.00, that a whole day. I have read a lot about cancer and seen a number of video on it, Its a business, it make huge amounts of money and cost the NHS even more,
  4. The young lad who lost his mum should get his own show, he's the next Guy Martin!, Must admit I am really enjoying this show. Pity they did not show all the help they had with the James may one, felt like we where just in the way once we put down the track.
  5. I think screening in the UK should be done at part of your body's MOT at the Doctors, A five point blood test cost far less then all the drugs, staff, Hospital visits you have to make. It must cost the NHS huge amounts dealing with cancer, where a simple blood test cost next to nothing, Also by doing this you could save far more lives and not wait till your on death door. Darren
  6. you think thats a crazy price £3.25 for a one inch bit of track, or am i missing something here http://www.gaugemaster.com/_upload/imgs/lrg/34713/MN02235.jpg
  7. When they did the first one a lot of the track was left behind, as a mate of mine worked for the council and had to clear a lot of it up. He showed me a photo of the back of his van and it was full up with track, i believe they ended up getting a bill for the clear up.
  8. I saw the same bit of film at the end of the first one, with the loco going in the drink.
  9. The James May track was recycled on eBay, As so much of it was just left in place.
  10. My wife of 26 years was told on the 10th of October she had Gallbladder and liver cancer that had spread from the Gallbladder. A year and four month before she got the diagnosis she had been going back to the doctor every few weeks, with pains in her stomach, the Doctor said that she had over productive acid in her stomach and gave her some anti acid medicine. This did nothing and things just got worse, being sick, stomach making horrendous sound, and a lot of discomfort in her stomach and side. Every time she went they kept saying and treating her for the same thing, they gave her a few blood test, where going to organize a scan at the hospital, But they never followed this up and no scan was done. Other the weekend of the 7th and 8th of October she became so ill and in so much pain I told her she needed to go to the Hospital, on Sunday evening we went to the Hospital and she was admitted to the ward. I had to go home as I was working that night, On Monday afternoon my wife phoned me and said they had done a catscan and had found a tumour growing on her Gallbladder that had also moved to her liver!, It only took the Hospital less then 24 hours to find out this, where her doctor had never even looked in a year and four month, Never bothered to do a Liver Function Blood Test , or a five point blood test that would have pick up the cancer notes. Now my wife is having Chemo, has lost a huge amount of weight, spend most of her day sleeping on huge amounts of morphine, the chemo she is having will only ( fingers crossed) prolong her life, it's not a cure. This is the hardest thing I have ever had to deal with in my life, I love her more than she will ever know and so not want to lose her like this, we are fighting hard to beat this evil disease. As Allan downes said in his post; "The Medical Profession does NOT support herbal drugs for cancer period." I have been getting pure CBD oil for her and praying to God it works as the Chemo just seems to make her more ill and the chance of it even slowing down the cancer is around 5%. They should allow more research in to CBD/THC oil, But as long at the Pharmaceutical company's make so much money with drugs for cancer and dark age laws in this country on medical marijuana, I FEAR that we will be talking about the same cancers in twenty years from now. One thing it has changed both of our lives for ever. Darren
  11. Had that experience at a show last year, saw a Bachmann collet goods for sale at £50.00, in the end i ended up buying something else. Went to another local show a week later saw the same collet goods for sale, But this time £65.00, Asked the chap running the stall why it had gone up by £15.00, Only to be told that since Bachmann had put up there prices he was doing the same, the loco stayed where it was.
  12. Glade they are doing these, one on order.
  13. Do Bachmann not do their price rise in February?. if so will the price of the crane rise again as it's not released until July/August, 2018/19.
  14. This was put up on the Bachmann N gauge on their site. "Following our recent 2017 range announcements, we would like to inform you that our 2017 prices will come into effect as of the 1st February. This comes eleven months after our 2016 prices were announced, in a year where our prices were held despite the Post-Brexit Sterling exchange rates falling significantly. Our price increases for 2017 have been held to a minimum, with 72% of our Branchline products either being held or being reduced in price, with an average of only a 6% rise in price. We have also been able to hold, or reduce our prices on 64% of our Graham Farish products with only a 4% average price increase where absolutely necessary. We've worked very hard to keep any price increases to an absolute minimum in the current economic climate and to enable us to continue to offer the highest standards of design and quality that you have come to expect from our products". If the average is 4% price rise, and 64% of the prices are fixed, then the ones that have gone up in price (probably the new models) would average an 11% rise. http://www.Bachmann.co.uk/details.php?id=349
  15. Hi Dave That is scratch building having to cut out the frames yourself!, mind you in your hands nothing surprises me what you can build.
  16. I maybe wrong on this one, but when Bachmann started to put their prices up a few years ago, i am sure they said it would be a 15% rise each year, that dose not seem like it to me, looking at how a loco cost a few years ago they have gone up well above the 15% each year. If they keep pushing prices up the way they are doing i can see runs and sales dropping. My local model shop has tones of Bachmann stock on his shelves that he can not shift at the prices they are now asking.
  17. I hope they do them in the same S/BR Green as the last ones, the ones before them where a much lighter shade.
  18. So missed out for years, now you can have a full set, well done, two on order.
  19. Yes Hornby could steal a lot more customers, By pricing there models a better price, Bachmann should have looked at there market better, By doing one all bells, and one with out all the working parts maybe.
  20. It was on my list, now it's not, Sorry Mr Bachmann at that price no way.
  21. Hi Mike You mean this one that my Dad took in 1974 at OOC. One thing i did notice on the model are the stabilizer legs don't touch the ground , unless they are making the legs drop down to the ground, But looking at them when he pulled them out they seemed not to, would this make the crane unstable if the jib is out at the side?.
  22. me waiting to see whats going to be announced, be good to see what i need to save up for, roll on Sunday.
  23. Please be a Z class, Please, A Nelson EMU would be very good.
  24. I am sure he said in the video that they will not be making them again after these ones, get them while you can, I too see these selling for around £160-200.
  25. I to do not understand why they can not give you them to put on, they did it with the 25, the other thing is why do they never give you a price for the model before they hit the shops, Hornby give you the price so you know what to save for.
