Hi all, having made several unsuccessful attempts to transfer the thread over from RMW3, I have decided to give the file link for those who are interested or are coming in as 'new readers starting here' //www.rmweb.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=51002 Yesterday's progress was to short out the wheels and fit/wire-up the motor - all done successfully and will carry on with the remaining bodywork bits today and then give it a good run at the Club tonight and tomorrow and then strip it down ready for a final dunk in the Viakal and the paintshop. I'll post some 'building complete' photos prior to the paintshop as and when I get there. regards Mike

Hi Richard & Dan, as I said on the 'old' thread, a great kit and a joy to put together, which means that the time spent on 'construction' is all productive and not spent on sorting out the manufacturer's design shortcomings. I appologise for not removing the 'greening' but to do it properly, would entail taking the wheels off and then putting them back on again etc. The wheels will be coming off to fix the motor, so the whole chassis will get a good clean-up then. Richard - MOK do an 8F - at least one on Heyside would be a shrewd move! regards Mike

Hi all, trying to get my head around the new system, so here goes. Over the last few days, I've fitted the pipework and mechanical lubricator, which just leaves the motor to do, hopefully today. regards Mike

Hi Richard, just getting to use the new system and having a look round whilst I (like everybody else) wait to regain access to the old site to transfer over the Charlie Q1 thread. Glad to see that you have started and am looking forward to seeing the progress on the build. regards Mike
