  1. Just thought I’d drop a comment as I’ve been following this layout for ages and thoroughly enjoying seeing the progress both on Facebook and on here every now and then. Really fantastic modelling, makes me want to order some bits and get cracking on my own project to restart some modelling mojo. Hopefully a north west show one day, if not if I can I’ll make the trip north to railex NE.

    Keep up the good work

Or you could come to DEMU Showcase in 2020 :-)

  2. Surely its not as bad as that?  The program would be reduced to a Portilloesque "journey" meeting colourful locals.  Anyhow, I'll be watching it later today, keeping my eyes open for any former railways.

The feet shots will be a clever idea to show that he's "walking"...

No, it’s not as bad as that, I quite enjoyed it, but them I am interested in railways and would watch it even if it was bad. I’m sure C5 are quaking in their boots that a viewer will not watch it again. To be honest it’s not their loss..............

  3. Yet another rehash of an old BBC programme?

Get some new ideas please programme makers.

Sorry i disagree, dont do enough of these type of programmes, with Paddington, Walking Old railways and Great Model Railway Challenge i think someone on C5 likes trains.

Can always watch Corrie ( its been going for 50 years or so )

  4. I know there are issues with continuity, this is apparent on most travel/transport related programmes.

There will always be people who moan and state I’m not going to watch anymore of this BUT. I found the programme quite enjoyable and to be honest I’m just glad that there seem to be some railway enthusiasts who seem to have some say in programming on our TV’s.

I’m quite happy to watch Railway/transport shows on TV, you can always switch off if you don't like them.

  6. For those of us that are old enough I thought the part of the show which was at The Crossroads Motel in Kings Oak was quite a humorous touch, even when the receptionist said “ I need to speak with Mrs T (Amy Turtle)
