Surely repainted apple green embarking on a tour of the States until it runs out of money?

I haven't done the browsing through books as Petrox has done, but my guess is that the last Toplights were a bit of a mixture, with some of them looking a bit more like Toplights than others. In a sense though, that mid-50s look is an irrelevance, and anyone expecting Dapol to roll out patched and plated things just because they need them for their modelling period is going to be disappointed. Dapol, I'm sure, will go for the as-built look. If they start plating over everything, they will merely look, pointlessly, like Colletts with door ventilators.
The one diagram that does last as built (or as near as dammit) is the lovely K22.
At last some common sense.

* I still haven't decided on names for the other two, can't have 3 DoGs running about and bumping into each other!

So just to be clear, when do we start wish listing.
Though to be honest I've rather lost interest in the annual frothfest I do like to see others suggestions.

Which cities had them?
Some towns had their own version, for example the famous one by the harbour at Scarborough.
London and Glasgow both had the classic Who type.
In fact Glasgow still has some surviving ones.
Edinburgh still has some existing ones of its own design

Just seems like the usual feeding frenzy for consultants and lobbyists that passes for real action in this country!

Would the ROD tender make your list as some Collett goods ran with them?

I don't know where your layout is based but Garforth (my old home town) is about the same size.
As a standard NE design plans shouldn't be too hard to come by.

This is the plan from the 2005 BRM article. Hope I'm allowed to post if not I'll pm it to you. Not sure why the phones inverted the image

I have to ask how much of the increased loss is down to the investment in TT?
I don't suppose the sales figures break down between Hornby OO and TT.

As for 2024 range, thinking back to 2023, I'm thinking something with a very limited build quantity ,that was scrapped or completely rebuilt shortly after construction so has limited livery options and that only operated in a very limited part of the country.
Give me time I'll come up with something by the time we open the wishlist!

Don't think I can tell the difference between anything that isn't green with a copper capped chimney!

Could this be a good starting point, available from Dapol?

The road way was usually supported on brick arches built on girders running between the two side frames. I'll see if I can find an example on line to post
Have a look at this site, under jack arches.

Has anyone got their hands on some of these yet!

If it's almost Arley, you could call it "Nearley"

I got a couple Dapol chassis as spares and swapped out the tired wheels on mine. But could never get them quite right to avoid the wobble

Thanks found and ordered. The loco was a bargain at £55 and fitted with DCC so I don't mind Spending tenner to get the missing extras.

I have just bought a second hand one of these but it is missing the little extras, specifically the exhaust pipes for the pistons and the breakrods.
Can you buy the accessory pack as a spare part?

Now this I could get behind, especially as when the sets were broken up the stock went into general circulation and can be used in mixed rakes (width restrictions permitting)
