Cheers for kind words. All is okay(ish), just a bit gutting to have to give up something you've wanted to do for a long time. Nothing sinister behind it fortunately and left on good terms, it all boiled down to money which was just too good where I currently work, something which is sorely needed when trying to get on the property ladder! When you can, go for it. You'll thoroughly enjoy it!

I've done quite well then! Just renewed mine with Hastings within the last week, and the price was lower than the previous year by about £30 across both cars. Ran a quote through Go Compare and they came out cheapest, and got the same price running it through Hastings own site as a new customer. Phoned them up (needed to change a few details anyway) and they happily matched the price. Saved me an extra £40 across both cars, so a result! First time in 10 years of driving that the price has actually gone down without having to switch companies.

Working fine(ish) for me. Great effort by all involved!

Currently using a redundant tablet, but looking at getting the WiFi Multimaus shortly. Can't beat a physical controller!

A good system! Picked up one with the WiFi router just after Christmas, very easy to set up and use and love not having a wired controller getting in the way!

The tax is more than the insurnace for once! Think I'm paying ~£350 fully comp for a 5.7 V8. Not too bad I think!

At least the other car's cheaper, only £21 a month!

I'm always intrigued by how they come up with some prices. Up until a few weeks ago I had two cars, one was an 18 y/o Mercedes A Class with a 1.7 diesel, the other a 10 y/o Chrysler 300C with a 5.7 V8. The Chrysler cost £670 for fully comp, while the Merc was £580 for the same cover! How's that work out?! I was 27 when both policies were taken out, so expected the Chrysler to be crazy expensive and the Merc cheap.

Probably the best all round engine of the lot. Always seems to known as one of VW Groups best engines. Though that V10 TDi has always tempted me!

Seems a bargain to me, theres a second hand 159 on ebay (although in SWT colours) for £1,975. Still, if you want to save a grand, there's another for £975. The new one sounds like a steal! In all seriousness though, while that is a lot of money, the older tooling has sold on many occasions for a similar amount, so I guess people are willing to pay those prices.

Oops! I've been worried about doing that myslef, only ever owned and driven diesels. The Chrysler I got a few months back is my first petrol, just wondering how long it'll be before I'll be in auto-pilot at the pump and chuck diesel in it!

Can't say I've seen anyone go the wrong way on one yet. Though, way to many people just don't give way fly out into traffic without a care.

I certainly do have a dashcam (caught the first accident which wrote a works van off), but I was in my second car which is due to be sold, so the mount and cabling for the camera has all been taken out. Seems like I was a bit premature in doing that!

Can never have too much light! Hence why we now have daytime running lights when 93 million miles there's this huge burning orb called "The Sun"...

Yeah, I was fine thanks. Absolutely fuming that he drove off more than anything! Dash cam did catch it all, apart from the HGV's number plate, which was covered in crud!
