No Roco dropped the range and GM hasn’t updated their ad

Ok it’s been a loooong while since I posted here, but after various HO projects, this is my latest thing, a TT shunting plank, it will split in the middle and latch together for carrying with an over case covering most bits, will be best on a small Czech Terminus with a small industry type unit attached.

Ahh right, I was in the CFR museum in Bucharest a couple of week back and saw that some big Sulzers were exported- I have picked up a toy one to see if I can convert it into something more Romanian or Polish.

Looking good, i too have subscribed to build a mallard, i was quite i pressed with the A3 ( buying 75%of the kit of a carboot for 2.50 helped) so i thought id have a dabble with mallard from the word go, ive not started it yet, just collecting some issues up, and getting tips, i do like how youve stripped the thick paint off the boiler, i reckon that will be somewhere to start on mine. I did wonderd how to tackle the platforms, the czech railway system seems to have such a varied amount of platform styles.

Yeah, its one of my mums hobby rooms....i built the layout in summer so had it outside..but then winter came....and i realised my house wasnt quite big enough lol, so my mum kindly donated her loft to keep it in while i build it, im hoping its ready/good enough for the 2016 model exhibition calender....time will tell.

As promised a couple of pics, these are about 4 week old now, ill get some up to date ones this weekend.

Hiya guys, many moons since i posted, but ive made some headway with my Czech layout, its also moved house....(my mum has a big loft), so the layout i decided upon the Zlata Vychod name, after some czech beer i found, its based in the North east of the Czech Republic, bordering Germany, with Poland also not that far away, so quite a bit of scope to play trains . Ill add some of the 1st pics i tookafter moving it, the straight end is the DB border end, there is plans for a forth board here with a small shed.....if mother lets me lol.

I used halfords grey primer it seemed to come out darker than yours jon and more shiny...bit bizarre. Was that the Mercia tour you did?

Seconded what rich says, ive sprayed my Revell 232 kit with it, and looks spot on!

Hiya all, I've started doing some work on my czech loco bodies, now has any body any ideas on colour codes for the csd matron/ dark red , ive trawled the inter web and had no luck, any comments on this colour or any other commonly used colours on cd/csd will be gratefully appreciated. Regards Dave
