A big thank you (if you can pass it on please) to the band of volunteers that helped us pack the Luton on Sunday evening!

It made a big difference having assistance to move Charweltons  boards and other paraphernalia to the van!

Great first day operating Charwelton and hospitality from the hosts as always.

Layout loaded and ready for the first part of its long journey north.

There are a couple of locos that seem especially exited about attending the show!    Eastfields 37033 proudly displays its rail-tour head board specially fitted for this weekends visit!

As we’re exhibiting in Scotland it would be rude not to have our railtour running! 
   The Clyde-Thames Tractor (Pathfinders tour)- Class 37 throughout (37033) and formed of MK1 SeaLink coaching stock.

Having used (played) the Sim-Sig simulation for the area it’s great to see it via the cab footage!

There were quite a few ‘SPY’ registration plates in the North East as I remember! Ps-   (after a quick internet found it was the Middlesbrough area code ‘PY’).

A few photos from last weekend when the layout was erected for checks and some further improvement work ahead of the Perth show!

      A weekend not to miss layouts from narrow gauge to O Gauge. Continental, American and UK outline both Diesel and Steam. The museum has a large car park. Disabled parking is available and the museum is wheel chair friendly. The museums exhibits are housed in the original Darlington Station (Head of Steam railway museum) on the Stockton to Darlington Railway. 
  The museum is located next to North road railway station for easy rail access.

Enjoying following the thread and I have also upgraded some Dapol/Airfix/Mainline MK2D.
   A tip I found from another site was to reduce the width sorry depth of the end corridor connection for the rear vehicle in the rake, in this case a BSO. I have Posted this already on another thread but thought it might help (the coach on the right is unmodified).

With Perth approaching work on stock additions is ongoing

A swift recovery I hope? My bout gave me arthritis symptoms in my knees with no other effects so it’s a lottery as far as I can tell! To coin an old railway term - ‘cabin up’ and post when your fit and well! 

I think a little dig at the now Tadcaster brewed ‘Newky Broon’ is justified- Byker Brown 4.8% and an admirable foil for a traditional ‘bottle of dog’!
