  1. I was lucky and managed to pre-order one of each from the very first batch, also bought two unbranded and two of the partially cleaned versions. Weatheing is excellent, although I have one dissapointment, the NACCO transfer just doesn't look right without any weathering over it. I also agree with the previous comments regarding the shiny cleaned areas, a bit of dry brushing to add some track dirt will make them look more realistic. Fantastic wagons tho'
  2. Thanks, not to worred just wondered if they were different livries. I assume you mean the C Rail tanks, they look good loaded on the Megafrets, like the DRS sugar train.. Sadly the newsletter from Kernow confirms the KFA's and OTA's are 2011 release now.. I have done some mods to mine to make them more prototypical...
  3. I noticed on the Kernow newsletter that the R6484 & R6485 KFa's have been delayed until 2011. However does anyone know anymore details of the wagons themselves or the livery of containers they will be released with ? I assume they will come with containers ?
  4. If its the NEM coupling pocket fouling on the front of the loco when you swing it from side to side, see post #11, just up a bit..
  5. The detailing doesn't affect the isue or performance, mine did it without the front skirt fitted, 66068 was the worst, nearly sent it back. Turn the loco over and swing the bogies from side to side, tilt them up towards the body on the leading end and see if they are free. If they are then as you say it may not be the issue, if it does catch then that is your problem.
  6. I have a large quantity of these locos and also have experienced this problem on both new and second hand locos, mainly curved points, about four of five locos out of thirty plus. Had tried all sorts to resolve it until someone on NRM said to check if the front of the NEM pocket fouls the front of the loco. I found if you take about 1mm off the front face of the NEM pocket or angle the upper face back this should do the trick, if your loco is detailed then its not an issue with the NEM pocket being hidden. Be careful not to damage anything if filing or sawing.....
