Just had my second delivered this morning from Kernow, dispatched on Saturday, runs nicely, got a small blob of glue on the smoke-box which I hope I can remove. But nice model goes well.

Yes It's a bit of night mare had the same problem with W31 Chale, Had only one patch on one side for the line BR late livery... was looking for hours to double check with photos and ect and that was for a kit just to add the plate on the tank. But its a bit of a minefield.

It only had a repair on one side, it received it's second at the last over haul I have seen a the other side in 56 early and it had one the opposite side.

Think W24 held on to its shed code plate for quite a while, seen some images of in in BR late, at Ryde in 61 still had it around that time and another shot at Ryde Peir in 65 unlined but still had it.

Certainly enjoying mine, looks and runs great, even on DC waiting for the second to arrive. Taken a few pictures as it was rumored to be on it's travels at some point... never know it may happen.

I would be interested but I would rather not chuck offers at you, if you have a price in mind, let me know and I will what I can do on Monday and if you have a picture of the kit that would be ideal.

No wasn't that recent I was looking, middle of the year I saw one about half finished, sadly went for silly money despite missing some castings, shame there just aren't that many about.

No idea on quantities on how many of each, was told a while ago the IOW ones haven't sold that many again due to the rolling stock issue, and speaking to a number of customers on the island who pop in to the shop every now and again they want to buy it direct from a shop and see it running first... although I think now Havenstreet shop has them also. I guess that solent tunnel was the one I read about which was on the FYN branch which I had seen plans for. As you and I know Pete rolling stock for the island is not an easy thing to do as they are a bit of an odd ball sets LBSC, SECR, chopped down changed ect... I don't see it happening any time soon sadly, but should be some more kits in the near future, as I am working with an Island based company if you like to possibly produce some more, although 4 wheeler stock and not bogie.

Indeed, been after one of these for a while posted a few months ago, missed out on an ebay one sadly think that was a K's kit, coming along nicely and shame they are no longer available.

SR green 207 is in stock with Kernow being despatched friend of mine has his already. Glad your getting yours soon Richard Hopefully mine is not to far away as I ordered in 2011 for K2102, so hopeful that I shall see mine soon also.

Took some photos of one today for a model shop, sadly some items were either glued incorrectly or not enough glue, mould line quite visible on the boiler, the metal block under the boiler not so noticeable but i expect will be very visible on the LSWR version, buffer seems to rather wonkey or was damaged in transit. Indeed I saw the LSWR one in the flesh in June sadly haven't seen much of it since, but after some thought last night looking at all the images past and present, I sadly cancelled my order but I hope they do well, Hopefully will get hands on with the BR on when they arrive as I do some photography for a model shop so I get a nice look at it.

Just received an email from Oxford saying the model showing here is due for release next week...... from no news to plenty of news...

That's a bit backwards if i'm honest, if they are unchanged they will probably out of date, either way I have emailed Kernow now as I'm away next week so won't be here to receive it.

I know that's why I was sensible and called them up a month ago changed card and address as I have moved haha, but yep was all done checked out... so not that, and my order still exists before anyone says it hehe.

I have to agree with some comments, the front smoke-box door is a tad high or too big, the lack of gap under the barrel is disappointing although it's down to the placement of the motor or ballast, the running plate still looks a tad bowed toward the front. Some bits are nice others not so, some parts of the chassis design are good similar to Bachmann with the radial axle, increasing the swing of the front bogie by moving the mount backwards... I think i will be swapping my order back to the other sadly.

I hope so, they are dispatching in date order, they are still busy with other orders and the previous delivery of o2's, I am trying not to ask them as I prefer to let them get on with it but with a house sale possible soon, it's weighing on my mind slightly. Edit: Hmm worrying mine was ordered 04/09/10 and not heard a word.... wondered what happened to date order.

No communication here either, ordered on the day they were announced, look on the previous page someone has theirs, I am aware the shop at Havenstreet had theirs delivered earlier this week.

Indeed doesn't look bad, shame about the metal block going between the chassis and the bottom of the boiler that's slight disappointing, but it looks pretty good, nice cab details, not sure on the hand rails of smoke-box dart, but not bad... sadly haven't shared much info since they were first announced. Seems like people who ordered theirs via Havenstreet have already got theirs already.

Shall have to wait and see, if that is the case then i should of told them to change mine as I ordered them separately as i was aware deliveries were possibly going to be staggered to allow for order processing, so shame really if they have done that and a bit disappointed as I've been waiting in for it.
