  1. A few more pictures on the H&R, showing the dairy's loading dock, also some industrial building's baring the names of some members, then we come to the bridge with a 150th scale double decker (with internal lighting and tail light's glowing) all in all it has been good fun helping Mark out with jobs that need to be done also lot's of help from lan Hallworth, in the last picture we have two locos running light engine to Ruthin.

  3. Can't say it moved me! why didn't they do something different ?? l see it was a lot busier than when we visited.
  4. lt's been a while since an up-date on the H&R garden railway, so much has happened since Andy came up and painted the back-scene, we now have a working station with a goods shed, and a bridge over the rails leading to the engine shed, will post more later...
  5. l must say that l was really amazed at the quality and size of SMS on my recent visit to Bodgits railway pod, everything was neat and tidy and the running and sounds were great, but l felt he has gone as far as he can with no more room to do anything else, as every corner was packed with O gauge, or guitars...a great time was had anyway...
  6. Good morning Paul, l found that there was no uniform in the placing of the pots some were 3-4-5 even 6 sleepers apart, so l guess l can place them wherever on 'Moss Lane' ??

  9. Hello Martin, lt amazes me given the cost of 7mm locos, how some people pick them up as if they were tonka toys beats me....
  10. l have never really been a fan of heavy weathering, as l feel that it ruins a loco, but l do like subtle weathering just a hint of grime, as David (Jintyman) does, all of his work is subtle and spot on, l hate it when someone fills the airbrush up with matt black and sprays it everywhere then calls it weathered ...
  11. Hi Andy, She looks nice now, after major surgery Hahahaha
  12. Thanks lan, it takes hours to build, and seconds to ruin, the new owner managed to bend most of the valve gear up with careless handling (Heart breaking) but its all fixed now, as you say ready for some running...

  17. Looked really nice in the box, but l was not very happy with the weathering when l got it home, at nearly 200 hundred pounds you would expect a better finish ? so l have started trying to remove the awful finish and do it myself, lesson learned ALWAYS INSPECT BEFORE YOU BUY !!! live and learn...
