  1. There is a second motor to drive the rear, removed in the pic, showing just the drive shaft and gear box. There were also two cast weights that fitted on top of the motor and drive mechanism.
  2. Was in Hattons earlier on and they have a few more samples on display. Sorry for the quality, but thought they may be of interest. The body colour is black not green.
  3. Why would you call them Dave? Or is this a "Trigger" moment.
  4. Hi Dave, can you give any more info on these two Westerns, product code etc.
  5. As I said, it is nothing to do with the programming or the drive. I can programme one end or the other to stop accurately anywhere I want. My problem is... If I programme the turntable bridge to stop with "A" end at track 1 and install another track (track 2) to line up with "B" end, then turn the bridge so that "A" end lines up with track 2, then "B" end does not line up with track 1. I would think it more likely that the bridge, or the track on the bridge is not truly centered.
  6. It is nothing to do with turntable drive/progamming/calibration, or direction of rotation. Wherever I position the bridge and line tracks up with both ends, then turn the bridge 180°, it does not align at both ends again even if I were to physically lift the bridge out, turn it and put it back.
  7. The problem is always there. Once the bridge has turned from two aligned tracks through 180 degrees, then both tracks don't align again. The bridge has to be calibrated to align to the exit road, which is ok on my installation as I don't have any spurs opposite entry tracks. It seems the track on the bridge is not true in my example. I used some of the spare handrail that came with the turntable, and the other parts, ie., winding gear, vaccuum hose and locking levers ( not shown in pic) were from a Dapol turntable kit.
  8. Try lubricating with a little lamp oil.
  9. What has this to do with porthole coaches?
  10. According to the Manual For DCC Turntable it is already fitted.
  11. I had a look at this model in Hattons today and it did have flangeless centre drivers, yet the ealier sample they still have on display has all flanged wheels. On enquiring I was told the production model would be all flanged.
  12. It looks as if the centre wheels are flangeless, I hope they're not. The earlier pictures had all flanged wheels. I'll be at the shop tomorrow so will get more info.
  13. Just had an email from Hattons saying my order has been processed. I will collect it from the shop tomorrow.
  14. Google search for Florin Court says it is in Charterhouse Square
  15. A Peco passing contact switch only pulses once per throw, unlike the Hornby one which does as mentioned.
  16. Have you tried asking here ? Scroll to the bottom of page to enquire.
  17. From Hattons site Product Code: 89121 Product Title: 21.5 metre (90ft). Turntable Motorised and ready for installation. Upgraded 89111. For HO/OO scales DCC ready. Due Mar 2012
  18. Dapol are releasing the coaches as RTR at around that price
  19. On comparing my kit, C95C, to the orignal Airfix composite, you are correct, the roof is reversed, something I never noticed. Looking at the Airfix brake the vents are in a different layout. I don't have a brake kit to compare.
  20. Appears to be in inexpensive way of building a rake of coaches What you get for £8.95...
  21. What about the words that are being dropped, like Thousand, Hundred and Pounds from tv and radio adverts. You can buy a Sofa for only three nine nine! Three nine nine what? Pieces of bog roll?
  22. Hope they stay clear of Hattons.
