Had a fantastic weekend operating Bridport Town. The first time I've been operating for a few years. 

Took a few photos and have posted this one elsewhere, but worthy posting again. I have a few more to sort out.

Glad I got in early, arrived safely this morning. Just flicked through, but certainly an interesting read and as James mentions on his video, a book that can pick up and digest a few pages.

Just ordered. Should be an interesting read as really enjoyed James' first book.

I only took a few photos over the weekend - not too much spare time as on my stand most of the time. 

I'd agree with Rob, that probably worth extending the bridge to the front of the board, then turning the siding into a heavily overgrown siding, perhaps with an old wagon in poor state!

A long overdue update - will be attending RailEx Taunton Sat 21st and Sun 22nd.

Will be taking full range and several new products.

I might bring my 08 and 03, if I can get the latter weathered beforehand. Both sound fitted.

Looking forward to seeing the layout at Stafford in a couple of weeks.

Great to see that you are adding parts / details to the layout to enhance. I had thought about adding working lights, but something that I never go round to doing.

Almost as many Wickham as 08 now?

Unfortunately I will not be able to get there this weekend as started my 2mm modelling projects and loaded with questions! Will have to wait until another time!

I purchased a GF class 37 at the weekend and replacement have been ordered, so conversion hopefully will get completed at the weekend. Need to make a start on the D&G couplings as well. 

Assembled one buffer kit, have another couple to do.

Working out a small track plan progressing, having completed three point kits and a few lengths of track. Again hoping to make a start on a small baseboard at the weekend. Thinking around 1m long x 200mm wide, so will fit onto a shelf in my office at home.

I would like to get a 20, 24 or 25 when I get chance.

Yes, on the list to get, but will probably get a rtr loco to convert first and get an 08 later.

Well ordered a few track parts and points, as well as a couple more mineral wagons and DG couplings. Hopefully will start looking at a small layout in the next couple of weeks. Just need to get a suitable diesel loco for conversion .....
