I will be attending the Exeter show over the weekend 22nd and 23rd July with my sales stand.
Working on several new products which will be available at the show and will add to the website Friday 21st. Photos / details to follow after the show as unlikely to have time beforehand. Adding to the website to make easier for sales at show through my card reader app.

S&W couplings do work really well, just need setting up to the correct height. Also need to ensure that ends of wagons are protected when packed to prevent being bent. Just need a wire loop on the loco buffer beams. There are probably some videos on YouTube showing these in operation.

A little bit of progress on a small diorama, laid the short length of track, painted and weathered before being ballasted.
I've taken the plunge and submitted my application to join the 2mm Association and will then get a few bits ordered. Got a few vague ideas for a small layout, but will want to get a diesel to convert soon.
Also been scaling down some of my 3D printed items to 2mm, including wheelbarrows which have come out exceptionally well.

I blame Jerry .....
I recently purchased a starter / tester kit for the track and mineral wagon, which I have assembled and painted. The short length of track will form part of a small diorama, with the single wagon. My intention will be to include a few of my own 3D printed parts as often asked to produce items in 2mm scale, so looks like a perfect excuse!
The etch chassis kit goes together really well, although not perfect, for me a great introduction to 2mm finescale modelling. I'd missed a few minor steps during construction, but will know for next time. Will there be a next time, yes, is the answer. I'm going to order another one along with the 'getting started' and very likely membership, after all only £20, which looks to be good value. Perhaps then a bit more track and point .....
I have thoroughly enjoyed putting the kit together and runs beautifully along the 120mm of track!

Very pleased with my 37026 (sound fitted) received from Colletts Models in Exmouth. Fitted the Accurascale crew - easy to unclip the body to fit these. Also fitted the pipe work, which was a little more tricky than the Deltic where the buffer beam is removable. Obviously removed the tension locks. I will make up wire coupling bar so that can use tension locks on the wagons / coaches being coupled but yet to determine the best way of mounting said wire, although thinking about utilising the holes where the snow ploughs are fitted as these not being fitted to my loco. Some experimentation and trial and error to follow.
I've run mine on a short length of track, but first impressions, very good and sounds superb. I do like the fading of the lights when switching on and off, plus the automatic cab light switch off when moving off. Runs smoothly on my MERG DCC system.
Waiting patiently for the next to be delivered from Accurascale, part of the next delivery due. Tempted to get a third ....

The third point that I needed arrived the other day and only placed roughly in position for now. Need to finish off the cork and then can start the track laying. Will follow up with some photos.

After many months thinking about a new layout project, having sold Orchard Road and two other completely stalled projects, a start has been made on an 0 gauge layout.
Currently occupying two boards 2.4 x 0.5m overall, with a fiddle yard to be added. The cork has been laid and awaiting arrival of a third point before starting the track laying. This will be a small goods depot with parcels / warehouse siding. As yet not fully worked out where everything building wise will fit and hope to incorporate a small loco serving / re-fuel area. I do have another thought of something else to add, but as yet not sure if this will work, so will say no more until further investigated.
The track is Peco bullhead and will be DCC operated (MERG) and points servo driven, again MERG.
I will take some photos as progressed along.
I have an 08 and 03 to provide motive power, with hopefully further additions when funds allow. I have mixture of vans / wagons (kit built / RTR), plus getting closer to completing a Slaters SR Van B.

Looking excellent James!
I've got some station barrows and luggage that would look good on the platform!
Glad that the WWS static grass tool is working well, a good purchase then!

I've just added these two sets of tools to my sales page, links below.
Both 7mm scale / 0 gauge at the moment, although will do these in 4mm scale / 00 later. 3D resin printed and supplied unpainted.
Workmen set and garden tool set.

One of the things that was discussed during the layout's outing to SWAG was the need for something else in the yard area at the back of the layout.
@mudmagnet had a very nice oil tank with him on his sales/demo stand and I was able to try this for size. It looked good, but the configuration of pipes and ladder didn't quite work. Fortunately, thanks to the versatility of 3D printing and Richard's skill in designing stuff, it was possible to tweak the design to suit.
It arrived in yesterday's post and looks fantastic - I'm really looking forward to painting and weathering it.
Many thanks Mark.
Will look great when painted and weathered.
I have these for sale on my sales page.

Richard that looks pretty good - very much JLTRT. Will there be rivet heads on the water tank? And the ones I can remember always had black hoses - a painting hint for those who purchase one.
Mike
many thanks for the info.
I will add the rivets to the 7mm version - just printing some test pieces at the moment, but will add to the production batch. I will probably add to the 4mm version, but obviously will be much less visible.

Many thanks to Rob and everyone else involved for a great day. Certainly seems to have given Ray some inspiration as well!
