  1. 3 of the 5 roads on my traverser are now fitted, once they're all there and soldered/tested, there'll be an update on the Scrayingham layout thread (at last!)

  4. added a large logo 47 to the stud for Whitborough, another re-numbering project!

  5. ah, F1 season is back, and as a result, so is a guaranteed modelling seesion every race-day! Pot of tea, fast cars and building wagons!

  6. article on BBC breakfast about 'men in their sheds' but not a mention of celebrity shed fan Pete Waterman, or model railways in general!

  7. awesome! my internet connecting messed itself while I was updating my blog and I ended up triple posting! Problem solved now (I hope) and multiple entries deleted!

  8. back from North Wales, three railways done and now a wedding to plan too!

  9. back from York show, spent a few pennies to keep the modelling world rolling, and am now sitting down with a cup of tea to watch the Ffestiniog dvd I bought!

  10. backscene ordered, and iKve finally made a start on the warehouse roof for Whitborough! hopefully this evening I'll get some couplings built!

  13. Bike maintainance this morning failed, track sides to paint as well, good day!

  14. did some more soldering while watching the F1 this morning, and have now ordered train tickets for Warley, productive day!

  16. Enjoyed Goathland show, and Whitborough is off to Thirsk next year, result!

  17. Enjoyed Thirsk show yesterday, picked up some layout ideas (that I'm keeping a secret from the domestic powers that be!) and dropped off my details for next year! Score!

  18. failure to sleep today makes for a long tired night at work later! Grrrrr!

      I always have this problem when i do my first night shift at work it drives me nuts. Rest in bed all day with the light out works for me :D

      That's my routine for the start of my week, I was just restless and the less I slept, the crosser I got because I wasn't sleeping! Viscious circle!

      It was a spur of the moment purchase really, I just fancied it, which is probably why it's already built, and now decalled. Just loading and weathering to go!

  20. first cranking trip, and first exhibition of the year today, Donny here I come!

  21. found some slates in the alley behind the house, a fair few doors down so they ain't from my roof, the are however in my back yard! They'll be going in FR slate waggons at some point! Mega score!

      If that is blue/green that will be Coniston/Kirby slate, but if it's the purple/black it will be the Welsh F.R.

      thanks for that, I think it's more a grey/blue than anything, but it certainly needs a wash, and leaving it in the back yard should sort that out once it rains!

  22. good day out at NYMR yesterday, got a BOA wagon and some more reference photos of 08850 too!

  23. had a good day at the KWVR diesel gala yesterday, and today is tracklayig and wiring the fiddle yard (at last!)

  24. had a successful afternoon putting Parkside wagons together while watching the GP yesterday, now to get them painted before the chassis' go on
