  1. Just needs gutter and water butt, good for your shed and garden
  2. Hattons e-mailed me today that they expect their limited editions December 2016, although they state it will more probably stretch to early 2017
  3. Ha an e.mail to-day regarding Hattons' Dapol Bubblecar update, expected Dec 2016, although they state this likely to extend to 2017, it had been that long ago I had pre-ordered one I thought it may have been dropped.
  4. Well that's Three confirmed orders upto now
  5. Who will buy them? Seems most posters on this topic are not interested at the price plus not really one for the impulsive buyer
  6. My number is 94, for a sound APT=E, and paid in full, await the postie, if Royal Mail they are always very good how they deliver their parcels here .
  7. Was the chip fitted upside down?, if faulty I am sure Bachmann will charge for any service unless you have a receipt with purchase date,
  8. Hi Paul. I think I am correct in saying I instigated the question of warranty, the integrity of SLW was not in question , but I am sure some purchasers would have seen the 6 month warranty and kept to the letter and may not complain [ not knowing their customer rights} , say a light started malfunctioning ,they may have thought ,oh well it is only a light, lights being the one bugbear I have noticed on certain manufacturers equipment. So perhaps the guarantee could have reworded to give any unknowing customer their legal rights. John
  9. Received my Blue sound 24 today, [had ordered earlier ,but been away for a few days], impressed with the quality of the loco and the packaging of both the cardboard delivery box and the metal loco box plus the acrylic see through showcase, similar to some Continental locos, I feel this model is excellent value for money especially comparing with some of the high ended Continental prices [although the weak euro has been a bonus]. The only negative I have is the 6 month guarantee against failing parts, similar European Manufacturers give a 2 year full guarantee against failed parts, plus certain German shops give an extra year guarantee on top.
  10. Reading and receiving and sending many tens or maybe hundreds of letters takes time and I would imagine a costly enterprise, e-mails do get lost [not allowed by filters].SLW are willing to man the telephone for over 10 hours a day if you do wish to order, what's wrong with that. I do not know the proprieters of SLW but I was invited to the launch, but was away on holiday at the time, so did not attend. The e-mail sent to me to purchase was sent but not received seemingly, I did as requested and telephoned when applicable and I now await delivery within the next day or so. As people on this website have said it is only a hobby.
  11. Seems no answer, perhaps," brass cannot etch correct grills" and then if plastic injection was used , I am sure complaints would abound as a backward step
  12. On the grill question, can you expect to distinguish the size of the grills with photos of a full size loco and one of a model, there being a discrepency in size of each subject [Full size working Loco and one of a 1/76 model, won't the full size loco parts always look smaller considering distances that both are photographed at? [ model and fullsize loco]
  13. No,as per my previous post, Rail Exclusive would like existing customers to wait for an email tp purchase a model, but contact them only if you do not get the email within the two weeks, answer to your question on purchase existing customers have first refusal and then RE will offer them for sales after that {at least 2 weeks]
  14. Rail Exclusive have said on the sale of the class 24, all existing customers of past models will get an e-mail for ordering one within the next two weeeks ,once they have exhausted all orders for those who want one , they will then offer them on the website, Just to point out they have just got back to the office and as the staff level is just 2 ,please be patient, but if you are an existing customer and have not heard within the two weeks please contact Rail Exclusive
  15. Similar glitches happened in July on updates to Android, systems [but seemingly not on Iphones, Ipads] Roco were aware of the problem [quite quickly] and eventually sorted the problems out, so maybe your Iphones maybe ok
  16. Thats correct, that is the firmware roco updated 16 July, My mobile also updated automatically
  17. Had a reply from Roco saying they have sorted the "glitches" regarding address etc problems in the Firmwave update of July 16th 2015.
  18. Having tried repeatedly and failing to programme the Krokodile on the Z21, I tied the Gaugemaster unit to read the cv on crocodile and it read 384 wherever that number came from I have no idea as it should have 3 [unless mfx was involved] however I was able to reset the address and run the Locomotive with the Gaugemaster unit. So it would appear there is a " gremlin" in my Z21.
  19. Another twist to my Trix Mallet story, it failed yet again on my Z21, I took the loco back to the model shop I purchased it from on Saturday 18th July put on his Gaugemaster DCC set up and it immediately worked sound and all, tried it back onto my Z21 and it performed well, so I am scratching my head with the peculiarities of all, this , presuming maybe the Z21 has a problem with Trix locos although the 2-10-0 Trix tank engine has performed faultlessly.
