Anyone else remember those GEM working ground signals? Trying to get hold of a few. They're rare enough to make me wonder if I just imagined their existence!

$!*&! Messed up applying LSWR lettering from the HMRS pressfix sheet... and there's only one set of each size of lettering per sheet... Another £7.50 to get another sheet of mostly Southern lettering I won't use!

Built a kit, no trouble at all, now sitting swearing at handrail knobs. How do people manage?

Just spent fifteen minutes (and three springs) trying to replace a "sprung" Kadee coupling spring. >.< Now I see why they pack so many spares in a packet!
