Good to see you are managing to get something useful done over the festive season! I've been building more 16ton minerals while down in Kerry. No soldering, just a few tools and some solvent. Very relaxing.

Hi Robin.
Looking at the third pic, you might need to do something about the track alignment on the board joint on the outer track. Otherwise, looking great.
-
That's looking great now Dave.
-
Very nice Dave but what's causing the tender to sit up at the back?
-
Isn't modelling a joy. It takes a lot of self control not to throw things on occasions!
-
Hurrah, you no longer have to 'mind the gap'! Looks good, congratulations to Chris on a job well done.

We spent a couple of nights on the Gentle Annie Campsite on the Mokihinui River in 2014. Great spot.

I'm glad it's not just me that has days like that!
Looks the part Dave.

DRIBBLE!
I do wish you would stop dribbling on the internet as it is not good for my lap top.
-
Unlikely, as I will be picking up the wheels and rods! Currently spending a lot of time tinkering with the brake gear.
That aside, Barrow Road is looking good Robin. I expect to see even more progress in November!

Ivan, it's not a press tool but you are slightly warm with the footplate comment.
That was a rather large red herring Morgan!
-
That's coming along nicely Dave. They are ugly brutes!! Looking forward to seeing it finished.
-
At last! Good stuff Robin.

The wrist bands seem to work for some people and not others. I find that diet and daily doses of fish oil capsules keep my arthritis at bay (so far, I hope that's not tempting fate). Good luck and keep taking the capsules!

Looking great Dave. They really are mean looking beasts aren't they.
-
Nice work Dave and may I take this opportunity to wish you a Happy New Year

What a nice present. Just in time for Christmas!

Interesting that Hornby, while going to the trouble of giving Apollo WR smoke deflectors, used a body moulding with the cover plates for the lubricator on the valance still in place when other releases had it removed. (70015 had lost hers by 1951). I don't blame them for not fitting a short lubricator rod but they could have got the colour of the name plate correct (black). Now where are those rivets I was going to count......

Fab-u-lous, as the man on the telly would say!
-
Robin, you are so kind.

Wot, no Brits!
-
Ho bl**dy Ho!
-
Is it a very large image Morgan, I have given up waiting for it to open!

Looking good Robin. I'm glad it's not only me that has trouble with BB's brakes. I have, however, persevered and it is possible to tweek them to clear the wheels. BB did make minor changes to the design of the bogies at one point but I can't remember whether the slots for the brakes were better before or after that!
