It looks even better than last time I saw it!
-
What kind of glue were you using!
-
Delighted you enjoyed visiting my home town.

I now use High Level gearboxes. They recommend slotting the mounting holes for the motor so that the mesh can be adjusted.

Perseverance is everything. Keep it up!

I agree with the points Nick has made.
-
Especially a Cornish one.

Any chance of using a larger font size?

I shall be following progress, John, as I have a Malcolm Mitchell kit sitting in my stock cupboard. Am I right in thinking MM designed the Churchward kit?
Currently upgrading an Airfix 61xx body to sit on a Martin Finney chassis.

That 8F brings back memories as it was part of our first train set. Much excitement at Christmas! We built a layout and over the following years I added a lot of stock (including most of the Kitmaster range). Sadly, after I left home, my father gave it all away - 'time to put away childish things', without even consulting me! All my spotting books and records went at the same time, I was not a happy bunny! Fortunately, I had taken my photo albums and negatives with me.

Are those blood stains on the bodywork! It looks good.

Brilliant, Mikkel

How would it look if you extended the cab sides down level with the bottom of the bunker?!

That looks a lot better with the tanks raised.

Could the tanks have been positioned a little higher?

I will have to check out this Noch foliage, it certainly looks the part.

I do like the LLSR rolling stock, lovely looking looking loco's! From the photo's I assume this is one you originally built John? Looks very much like your handy work!
Paul
Indeed it is Paul.

Having refurbished a couple of elderly layouts for their new owners, I can assure you that this type of baseboard construction was not unusual! Trying to sort out the logic behind the wiring can be excellent exercise for the mind!

Any chance of a bit more info?
-
It's certainly coming along very nicely. Keep up the good work.
-
Very, very nice.

I like your method of holding the bodies for spraying. I assume they are the tubes from kitchen towel rolls.

Brilliant!
