  1. You have definately got the O gauge bug now!
  2. Love the Signa-Trak, been an ACE-2 user since 2019 but just got an ACE-3 with some new features.
  3. Yes Dave best of both worlds but I usually drive from the handset. My favouite thing is being able to label all the functions so you dont have to thing which F button to press. The loco list is a great new feature on the 3.
  4. Having been an ACE-2 user since 2019 and loving the system I decided to see what the ACE-3 is all about. Arrived today and just programmed two locos in. Seems it will be a good upgrade, I particularly like the loco list. Looking forward to more upgrades to it in the future.
  5. Out with the layout again this weekend, come and say hello.
  6. Great weathering on the TTA.
  7. You have and are working on some nice wagons I like the weathering on the Dogfish. Not seen any mention of locos though although I spy an EWS 08 in one of the photos.
  8. Thanks Rob, the quality of the paper in the magazine doesn't really do the photos justice. I will be able to post some of the originals in a few weeks. Better get on with the next layout now!
  9. As others have said the 06 isn't much use, I sold mine ages ago.
  10. Another of my model railways (number 6) in the modelling press and on the front cover. Model Rail Magazine in the shops on Thurday 15th February.
  11. Modifying a Dapol 20t brake van roof. Correcting the rain strips and adding the chimney strengthner.
  12. Get those wagons weathered! Layout is looking good.
  13. HEA weathered and extra handrails and footsteps fitted as per the HEA's that had the central end ladder.
  14. This is a function list but can't remember for the 1st or 2nd releases (possibly 1st?) SLW Class 24 F Key.pdf
  15. Does F22 turn them off?
  16. An excellent image taken by James Wells https://westhalton.wordpress.com of the Sherpa 400 van. This was probably the most photographed thing on the layout last weekend at the DEFine modellers day.
  17. Not much in O gauge at the moment Al but he says more stuff to come this year. The pipes are nice though.
  18. I have been looking for some suitable O gauge air pipes to replace some of the iffy pipes fitted to some of the recent wagon releases. These from http://www.westcoastmodels.co.uk seemed ideal, duly ordered a couple of packs and delivery was quick. I have replaced the plastic seemingly overscale pipes on my Dapol HEA's here is the result and a comparison on the West Coast and Dapol pipes. The pipes are available with either left or right hand isolator taps.
  19. 08814 photographed by Garry Lane taken at the DEFine modellers day last Saturday.
