How can a coach derail one way and yet you flip it around and it doesn't, it runs perfectly ?

Having had a similar issue with a kit,: mine was one end of one coach in one place in one direction - suspects are: restricted movement of bogie , caused by something like the coupler mount or wheels touching something resulting in limited swing,coupling mounted 95% square, something not quite right with track (pointblade low,or not closing fully, slight twist in track, bogie or bogie bolster not 100% dead flat/square

I have realised that some threads are started purely as the metaphorical equivalent to tossing a venomous snake into a kid's ball pool, why do people do this and how is this sopposed to enhance my enjoyment of what is, at the end of the day, a hobby and (for the most part) a relaxing pastime?
