It’s a shame that Simon’s excellent layout thread pages, are now being clogged up by discussions about the transmission from the MIOG live event !! Stay safe Craig -

Now then Mr Morgan, seeing as the Heljan 7mm releases are out in the open ...... are you tempted for a Class 73 Merseyrail De-icer unit ? A nice neat small train. "disclaimer -pictures lifted from the internet for the purposes of reference" Stay safe everyone Craig. -

Here we go ..... bragging about inches now !!! your 10" looks mighty impressive, makes me feel like my 8" one look inadequate !!!

Skytrex do some, GWR x 2 lengths, and SR x 2 lengths, both types are cast in white metal, with Leg supports, they clean up into decent castings. Or as mentioned before, easy enough to scratch build, from plasticard and plastistruct, or wood. Best regards Craig

Nice work there James, and I do like the way you have got those paints stacked, I’ll be nicking that idea For my workbench Best regards Craig

A parcels bay would be a good addition Rod, but the pictures you are drooling over, seem to be heading towards Berkshire . May be a new layout project is in order ? The mixed parcels lash up is great Rod -
Hello, I am still around, life has got in the way !! We moved into a new house at the end of July, planning has been submitted for a purpose built extension, which will be Mancave territory, space will be some where in region of 24 ‘ x 18’. Though I still hanker to have a garden section as well All modelling items, are safely in storage, pending a suitable temporary modelling space, once some major decorating is done, to keep SWMBO happy !! Please don’t mention Bury FC, that is a very sore subject :-( Best regards Craig

Where the UCV’s flat hoods originally ? -
Good evening, here is an enquiry as what seems to be the holy grail for 7mm modellers, the elusive China Clay wagon, I am looking to possibly scratch build or kit bash a rake of these in the future, so I am sourcing information in advance. Has anybody built any of these from scratch off drawings etc ? or has anybody kit bashed any Slaters, or Parkside kits to make up a reasonable imitation ? Your input or thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance Craig
