Hello, I have a grainy black & white picture off the Derby Sulzers website, I am trying to identify the type of Inspection saloon coach that is being used, any info would be gratefully received, also I must mention the picture is a download form the said site to try and avoid any Copyright issues. According to the details on the picture information The Saloon coach is attached to a Class 24 loco, I am trying to find out whether the Saloon is an LMS build or a Q13, its difficult to tell off the image Thanks in advance Craig.

WOW what era are you modelling Phil ? I use to travel on them in the 70's, 80's & 90's till withdrawal, and I only recall them just having the centre partition, basically splitting the cars in 2, and having a 2+3 seating arrangement in the compartments, which where all standard class, no 1st class. With regards to the etched DMU conversion sides and cabs, have a look at Worsley Works, Allen Doherty has a good range in 2mm, 4mm & 7mm now, and if you ask him for something that's not in his list , he is always happy to oblige. Best regards Craig.
