  2. Hi Ade, glad you sorted it out though, I have done it the daft way, too busy working on track instead of clearing up some clutter, then testing a loco on the track it kept shorting out etc, scratched my head etc etc, moved said crap some time later, found a needle file across the rails ................... Best regards Craig.
  3. Hi Merfyn thanks for that, this link "hopefully it will work" from Paul Bartlett's excellent site shows M45029M still numbered as M45029M in August 77, so it's around the period we are discussing, as I am modelling 1970 - 1977 I'll go with the M45029M numbering, I think I'll be safe. https://paulbartlett.zenfolio.com/inspectionsaloon Many thanks for the contributions. Craig.

  9. Thanks Joseph, I was wondering if it was a GWR Q13, but what is slightly doubting me is the centre window has squared corners, which is giving me doubts, I should ask @Ressaldar direct, Mike is a guru of these vehicles. Best regards Craig.
  10. Hello, I have a grainy black & white picture off the Derby Sulzers website, I am trying to identify the type of Inspection saloon coach that is being used, any info would be gratefully received, also I must mention the picture is a download form the said site to try and avoid any Copyright issues. According to the details on the picture information The Saloon coach is attached to a Class 24 loco, I am trying to find out whether the Saloon is an LMS build or a Q13, its difficult to tell off the image Thanks in advance Craig.

  14. WOW what era are you modelling Phil ? I use to travel on them in the 70's, 80's & 90's till withdrawal, and I only recall them just having the centre partition, basically splitting the cars in 2, and having a 2+3 seating arrangement in the compartments, which where all standard class, no 1st class. Best regards Craig
