A lot of the photos from this blog were lost in the forum crash, I did save as many as I could and re-uploading them here for reference (hopefully in the same order as referenced in the text).

Hello Mark, I was wondering if you knew the name of the Citadel paint you used for the Crimson? I am looking at doing a Fruit D as well and the look/finish you have is great.
Thanks

IIRC @Corbs and possibly @TurboSnail have done this. For myself, I'd be tempted apply a transfer in the body and shading colours over a white-painted base - a sort of negative transfer - as I have in the past done when hand-lettering.
Yes but I used a specific laser printer with a white toner roller. Upside is it is excellent for white decals (even more so that the decal film manufacturer has released an extra thin version), downside is it CAN do colour but the quality is not as good and the decal needs to be printed upside down, so you lose the adhesive layer.- 3

Fantastic modelling as always, Alan and such a delight to see more of Tweedale. The scene looks great.

Hi Corbs,
I've had a break away from modelling over the winter, but I'm getting back into it again now, and trying to finish off the Docks Branch module. There should be an update in the next couple of weeks. Alan.Smashing stuff, looking forward to it!

Hello Alan, I was just wondering if there had been much more activity down in Tweedale? It is one of my favourite modelling blogs.

Nice video Corbs.
Sometimes I think modellers overdo the super slow crawl, shunting (from what I see of old film) was often carried out at a fair lick as depicted in that video.
Thanks Dave.
There's an absolutely fantastic bit of film about the last days of steam at Sydney's Darling Harbour which features some spectacularly violent shunting in action, I'm not sure if knuckle couplers are more resistant to the shock or not but it made me wince!

Fantastic, Mikkel! I've wanted to do something like this and you've proved it can work.

Alan, it's always a treat to read a post from you. Master of small spaces and the 'fish tank' layout, it looks superb so far. I wish I could crack on with scenery like you do.

What do you plan on using for the Lentz Valve Gear?
I got some Hornby P2 valve gear from Peters Spares.
