  1. You've made a great job of this.
  2. That looks really impressive!
  3. Sorrel looks a bit battered!
  4. This layout just shows what can be achieved in such a small area. Fantastic!
  5. That pool of light cast by the outside light will look great when the model is in place.
  6. It looks great! Will the ground be built up around the base of the steps?

    14xx upgrade

Great little project that has inspired me to purchase a Dapol 14xx sitting in the display cabinet of my local model shop.
  8. This is beginning to look a very interesting project.
  9. Beautifully put together story and diorama it does capture how people would have viewed such modern advances.

    A new layout!

A simple trackplan but very effective.
  11. I use to be the Trade Liason Officer for the N Gauge Society many many years ago and I am amazed at the progress that is being made in this scale. The models being produced in British outline are now the equal of anything produced for other countries.
  12. I agree with Barry ten I find that less track makes for a more realistic layout. It is tempting to cram in as much as possible but it rarely ends up satisfying you.
  13. I'd do it, you will know its in place and be content.
  14. Is the little man in the yellow outfit going to get a makeover?
  15. Ah the temptation of 7mm!
  16. As its a loco depot perhaps you could include a , coaling stage, ashplant etc you appear to have enough room.
  17. I like the idea of a book of "smallish plans" along with photography tips, I personally have not come across any publications that conbine these themes. I enjoy seeing the way that you and other model railway photographers are able to turn a model into something believable using certain viewpoints, lighting etc. Its something I think a lot of modellers would like to be able to replicate with there own layouts. Many of us strive for realism and photographs can often reveal a lot more detail (or lack of it!)
