I have acquired a second-hand Hornby Class 08 body which I intend to repair and respray, however, the front marker lamp units are missing and I was wondering if anyone has made these before or if they are available to buy?
Thank you

Which is the best way to simulate the thick grease on loco buffers, is it a paint effect or is it done another way?
Thanks in advance.

I would like to replace the cable on my LH 100 with a coiled cable, does anyone know of a source for coiled cable with the correct plug and how easy is it to replace the cable ie soldering connections etc?
Many thanks in advance for any advice.

Sorry I should have said, not for mooring ships just for a couple of rope coils lying on the quayside, maybe what fishermen would use.
-
As part of the quayside section of my layout I need some suitably sized rope but have no idea of the thickness needed.
If anyone can help with the size that would be great.
Thanks in advance
