  1. Scroll down a bit and you'll find some useful hints and tips to get the best from Airfix wagon kits from George Dent. http://www.georgedentmodelmaker.blogspot.com/ Carl
  2. Here's another inspired by Dungeness, Kent. A station made up of bits of boat, scrap and drift wood.
  3. Re: Jon020's drawings. Jon, The proportions and detail of the loco's look incredibly accurate. How did you get them looking so good? Carl
  4. Thank you Boris and Mac for your comments. Go on Boris show 'em! Carl
  5. This is one of my efforts, an electric kettle. It's pen and ink, colour is a mix of watercolour and indian inks. Carl
  6. Nice to see more of your work. What you said about the weathering on SR CCT's is very true, at one time I thought they were actually painted brown! Perhaps you should repaint in brown with patches of blue.
  7. The 150 appeared in Railway Modeller, March or May 1989. Or was it June come to think of it. Anyway, I always remember the close up of the cab in that article and being blown away, not just by the perfect likeness and finish of the model, but the tiny and legible "Manchester" on the destination blind! Bernard should get an award for the steadiest hand in railway modelling. Carl Carl
  8. Sounds good but I would hold out for some of the above to be produced r-t-r (or retooled r-t-r) especially the 121 and 25. The old farish 25 doesn't stand up well against the the new 24. Not that my opinion is definative, just a suggestion. Carl
