  1. As ironic as it is, I might send you mine to fit a headlight to as I haven't got the time to do it myself atm.. LOL
  2. Thanks chaps, exactly what I (and we) wanted to hear! Fantastic. The aim is a quality product, which takes time but it's worth it. We should be getting some ore out this weekend now..which will be going via Royal Mail signed for instead. Alex
  3. Possibly, not sure if DPD work Saturdays on a bank hol. In which case I'd say Tuesday. I've found the cause of the text mistake with them so this shouldn't happen again. Sorry for the faff Alex
  4. You received one of the erroneous DPD texts then, several texts went out yesterday and they hadn't even been collected yet. 63 were collected today so I'm guessing yours was in those. Tuesday is unexpected though, it's supposed to be next day. Apologies. The locos that were picked up yesterday were delivered today.
  5. Should be in tomorrows batch if you paid before mid monday. If you've heard nothing in a week drop me a message on here. Alex
  6. First batch posted.. was up til 3am sorting it out. 30 gone today and hopefully up to 103 gone by tomorrow. We'll be sending out some more early next week. PS..DPD have sent out a few erroneous text messages, and I don't know who to. So some of you who have had a text saying it's arriving tomorrow might not get one tomorrow..so just sit tight and it'll arrive next week. Silly problem but out of my control. Alex
  7. That'll be the pristine ones. My weathering batch will start in the next week or so hopefully..just finishing off some other urgent work first. I'm aiming to get all of my weathered ones out by the second week in September! Thanks
  8. Fantastic looking loco, now sold out at Bachmann. Good tooling, new nose tooling for the correct headlight position and great livery application. As moaning as I am I can't really find anything to complain about with 099. Re sprung buffers, I think the problem is that this is the first class 37 that 'modern' up to date era modellers have received which has round buffers..Bachmann 37s with round buffers have never been sprung due to the design. So it's not old tooling, just the first time anything outside of BR blue or triple grey that hasn't had them. Easily swapped out if you wish anyway. Looking forward to the rest.. especially the railfreight general one! Alex
  9. If you paid before close of play on Monday, your loco will be posted tomorrow if all goes to plan. Alex
  10. We're currently exactly half way through sending out payment request emails..and the first batches of locos should be posted out this week if all goes to plan. However please check your spam folders as we think some aren't getting through! Thanks for your support and patience. Alex
  11. Thanks chaps, the first payment requests/links were sent out today. We're doing this bit by bit, so please be patient with us as it's not going to be 'next day'. Or at least until we get the new webshop set up! We're sending out a batch of links per day, and then sending out those models. And repeat the process how ever many times until we're through the lot. We'll get the first batch posted out early to mid next week, possibly this weekend. As Mike said, next day or fast postage isn't an option here at the moment for a few reasons, but we'll get through it. I would like all of the models gone by the end of the month, which is realistic. So it's not going to take ages, just not the usual quick delivery most of us expect nowadays when we order online. Rest assured once you have paid, we know about it and we are on the order, and your loco/s will be sent via the next posting session. Literally not enough hours in the day atm! Alex
  12. Yes definitely, heres a linky.. big thanks to Dave for this. Alex
  13. Thanks, yes massive effort and time required as you say, we've made significant steps forward this week so the emails will be going out next week if all goes to plan! Alex
  14. Thanks Roy, we're all packed up and ready to go now, just organising the payment link before we can send anything out. We HOPE to get this rolling late this week and early next..I'll keep you all posted on here. When the payment links go out via email I'll let you know on here. For those without email, I'll be in touch directly and arrange payment with you. Same goes for anyone who doesn't respond to the email for whatever reason, no worries as I'll be in touch directly by phone to check and arrange payment. As you say, first time we've done this and it's pretty daunting and a massive operation.. next time it will go smoother as things will now be in place. Including a new website which will take care of most of this for us automatically! Regards Alex
  15. Morning folks, just a little note to say..actually no..it's quite a big note, THEY'RE HERE!! 37114 has arrived safe and well. We have taken delivery and are currently packing orders, which will be shipped out shortly once payment has been made, we will be in touch via email or phone. As we're not a shop this process is going to take a bit longer than normal because we're still setting things up and learning as we go. Next time things will be a lot smoother, and as you can imagine this is not an easy task to manage. But we're getting there, payment will be arranged via Worldpay, which will be an email link which will be sent out to you hopefully next week. It's a very similar system to PayPal, and is secure. Quality control has passed at Bachmann, and it's also passed my quality control with flying colours which is quite a rare occurrence! It's one of the best looking Bachmann class 37s I've seen, if not the best..although I'm probably slightly biased. I'll post some pictures up of the model this weekend, but for now heres some packing shots, and the high quality certificates which I think look fantastic. The certificates are supplied pushed into the front of the box sleeve, but they are designed to fit into the box tray for secure storage once you've opened your model. I don't believe in cheap single sided paper certificates so I hope you like them. One little teaser..in the box you'll find a pre-order form for our next limited edition locomotive, if you liked that you'll like this! This next loco will be announced officially on here and to the press in mid August, but we wanted to give our existing customers of 37114 first dibs. Details of how to order are on the enclosed compliments slip which you'll find in the box. More pics soon, and once again thank you for your support. Couldn't have done this without you. Alex
  16. Got my peakstone yellow 07001 today, had to glue some handrails and a horn back on but it's a superb model. But the running is really poor, lumpy and wonky wheels causing the whole thing to do a bit of a dance, also the little connecting rod keeps falling off. Anyone else have running issues? Local shop only got me the one, so I'm guessing I'll have to get in touch with Heljan..
  17. Yes, we will be in touch very soon, within couple of weeks now. Alex
  18. So we're going to have three high spec class 25/3s at once then..interesting. ETHEL and prices are good yes, but there isn't a market for three. We shall see.
  19. Yeah I noticed this at the club too! Minor cock up from Hornby on the lighting front there..the reds should only be reds, not bi colour. D'oh. I'll take a look at it and see if I can sort it out wiring wise as you should just be able to untag one wire. No idea how they've messed that up when it's never been done incorrectly before. Dots are too big yes, easy to fix.
  20. Legomanbiffo with standard speaker was £140 supplied and fitted by yours truly, programmed to 114 and volume turned up. The standard 20x40mm speaker is actually pretty good, my weathered loco has it and it's not as feeble as you'd expect..I will swap it out for something bigger but that involves more work, but I'm happy with it for the time being which says a lot.
  21. Thanks Ian, lost count of how many I've done for you now, genuinely.
  22. Thanks! I spent a good while on that one making it look right..if anything it's too clean for an Inverness loco! Always weathered for me, even if it's extraordinarily light..just takes away the factory sheen.
