Oops indeed, that’s a 52. Falcon was the Class 53. Somebody having finger trouble me thinks.

Edit: As an aside, why do they even quote the class? Nobody really refers to them by class, why not just say "Dapol Western bargains" and done with it?

Errors are creeping into the Rails website, probably due to pressure of activity. This one though is avoidable.I've also noticed discrepancy in quoting Hornby's r.r.p.for the forthcoming Royal Scot releases (and a wide discrepancy in the discount on offer...but that's another matter)

Hi Ian, I have looked into the royal scot rrps. As you maybe aware in the past Hornby loved to tweak their prices without much notice. The one royal scot you are referring to R3558 used to have a rrp price of £164.99 (the rrp was originally £134.99!). It obviously is now £169.99. I have amended this on our site.

Many thanks

Oliver

That touches a nerve.Elsewhere we have seen posts concerned with Hornby's somewhat cavalier policy on pricing. Some of it is to say the least bizarre and illogical.
