  1. And in the meantime, enjoy this incredibly beautiful EWS 66001. What a model and what a sound. So far he has driven every day.
  2. That is of course wonderful and certainly realistic, but do they also turn off again if the locomotive has been standing still for a while? I waited for 1 minute, they just kept howling.
  3. A question about the Class 66 sound: Sometimes the noise from the fans suddenly starts. Beautiful of course, but how do you get this out again? This does not seem to happen automatically. It drowns out everything, so it has to stop sometime........
  4. Derailment of two-axle wagons with the Accurascale Class 66 can easily be remedied by filing off the small corners of the Tenson Coupling, which touch the apron plate on the left and right side first. I also weighed my Hornby Hopers down a bit with lead and topped them with some coal.
  5. The extremely beautiful EWS Class 66 has also arrived here in the Netherlands. My special compliments for the model, the great sound, the very nice packaging and the fast shipping by DPD to the EU...... But here too there are problems on R2 rails with pulling two-axle vehicles from the rails, for example the Hornby Hoppers. In the meantime, the hook has been removed from the Class 66, which is going better...... More tinkering tomorrow.
  6. A few anti-slip straps underneath the Class 66 and it pulls a lot more, as they would say in the EU.....
  7. Unfortunately, this video says nothing. In a few seconds a Class 66 flashes by at high speed. Of course, this says nothing about the real driving characteristics or the sound. Why doesn't Accurascale make a professional movie with sound from one of their prototypes. There must be one available already, right?
  8. Well, what is the profit for the customer, you buy something because you want the product and the price and service are as desired. Buying up an old company name like "Hattons" doesn't change that. Then you just buy from RoS...... Don't expect the number of advertising emails to go from 3 to 6 per day... I don't know any company that sends as many emails as RoS!
  9. Whether or not there is an option to unsubscribe, it remains a very strange move by Hattons to transfer their entire database to former competitor ROS without the consent of their customers...
  10. "Rails of Sheffield will be taking over the Hattons email database" How is it possible that a commercial company takes over the entire database from another company? Hattons customers never gave permission for this......
