Out of the eight I have purchased I have found only one of the wheel sets faulty. The moulding on the flange was incorrect so I have replaced it with a set of R8264 Hornby wheels they cost

Hi all, This series has just hit the newagents here in Australia. The first issue costing Aus$7.99. The agent where I purchased my first issue with the coach had plenty of supplies. Considering in obtaining a couple more, considering, retail, a Mk1 coach costs between $50 and $75 here.

The nest issue to cost $19.99.

Hi Everyone. I am scared to purchase this. I have the money to purchase the magazine, and I already have a loco and the "electrical kit." All I would need to buy is the baseboard!!! however, I am scared that not everything in the picture will be included. Does anyone know what is NOT included???

Hi mcsweyn

Its hard to say because they are doing some items that are not in the picture?

For example they have released a blue tractor, grey trailer, grey wagon and a smith bro's wagon.

All of them I can't see in the picture of the layout.

Thanks for the replies from STRAT'71 & andymac-2008, re the Coach Bogies. I will try the spring mod 1st & see how I get on.

I've just had 4 more issues delivered(18,19,20 & 21) I thought it was only 2 a month? Also I now have 4 bags of green scatter, hope don't get raided by the drug squad, for intent to supply. "Honest officer it's grass for the model railway" LOL.

The Morris Traveller is great(my Dad had one of these when I was growing up in the 60's). On closer inspection it's a K reg(1972) & on reflective number plates(1/1/1973 onwards) and thought the period was early 60's?

Hello I have been collecting this since it first started, but have yet to do anything with it, I thought I`d get the full layout sheets before starting but things being what they are Have just accumalated the issues and storing them for now.

I will not be going down the route of paying for the electrics or the Jinty as both can be obtained cheaper elsewhere!

Have you started doing anything with the intended layout?

Would like to see something sort of started, I would have thought Hatchette would have a dedicated site for ongoing builds but that does not seem to have happened, although I did get a letter from them suggesting I send photos of progress!
