After a lot of thought I have decided to move my work from here to a thread, I feel that fewer people are looking at blogs or it feels that way. So to get to a wider audience it is the best move. Itis a shame because I much prefer the blog format I think it works much better with any replies tagged to the post that they relate to. I thought it was a good time to change as I am starting a new build project.

I hope that you all will enjoy the posts that will beher at Not for Peter, Pete's Workbench

You may well find odd post put on here that are unrelated to my threads.

Hi Pete, thanks for the blog while it lasted. I fully understand your dilemma. Many of those who dislike threads going  off-topic would probably prefer the blog format in principle, but are put off by the navigation issues etc (or simply forget the blogs).

It's not too difficult to imagine a cross-over format between threads and blogs (eg "main entries" combined with "collapsible" replies is a well known forum structure that could be developed further). But there is the software issue, plus it might inhibit the free-flowing conversations that some people like.

I'll see you in your thread :-)

Hi Pete, I must admit that the same thoughts have crossed my mind from time to time, good luck with whatever you do.

Thanks for your support in this change. I expect there will be odd posts here, no doubt the bits I cant find a home for in my threads.
