S&DJR FULL BRAKE (6)

Things on this have not been static, just very slow. I have started mark two version of the linning. Ky first attempt was horrible. so after lots of touching up blues and blacks I had another go.

This time I am much happier with it although it is not to the standard of some of this parish. It needs a little touching up here and there. The blue paint work looks nothing like it does in the photo, the contrasts are no where near as bad. It is the light here on the equator that seems to do strange things, the blue is also much darker when away from the balcony. Once given a coat of varnish all should blend together again.

it looks mighty fine to me Peter, I may yet be tempted to do mine in the same colour.

I do actually think it is a very nice livery. I am tempted to do mine in the blue but re lettered to Southern. Whether or not they were actually re branded before repainting I do not know.
