  1. I have one which was fitted with Digitrains Sound after a period of successful running in. I will bring it to SWAG on Sunday and can give it a run out on Cropper Street if desired... Chris H

This hobby can take us down some curious byeways...I was doing a bit of "lite" research on family stuff in Liverpool when this popped up related to the Dingle/St Michaels area where my mother grew up...I had simply named Cropper Street the area of Liverpool near Central Station but this is fascinating... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/James_Cropper_(abolitionist)

  6. A question for the floor....I am looking at the various bits and bobs I may offer for re-cycling via the B&B at SWAG. I have a box of weathered 1970s/1980s Easten USA HO freight cars and a few locos - is this likely to be of interest or shall I not bother sorting them out and doing the paperwork!? Chris H
