Mine is all packed up ready for a trip out on Penmaenbach at the Cheltenham Show this weekend - I will try for some fots then - it is a bit clean though.... ChrisH

I purchased a new one of these at the York Show and attempted a test run today. Sadly although the motor appears to work it is clearly not connected to the wheels! I have sent a message to the retailer but wondered if anyone else had encountered the same issue and if it is an easy fix which I could do myself - I am yet to open it up and won't do so until I hear back from the shop. To the best of my knowledge SLW test every loco prior to despatch.....this takes time The sound project is bespoke and custom fitted here in the UK - and tested. I'm not aware of any "returns". of SLW locos. I have personal experience of the products of a "prize winning" manufacturer where I have eventually settled for a refund (one loco type) or made significant DCC changes ( a second loco type) which means the product is definitely not "RTR"...... I am happy wait for my SLW locos in the knowledge that once I have them they will be exceptional. It you don't like the business model.....don't buy the locos...simples I am very happy to wait for my locos..... Chris H

I can confirm following my morning dog walk that the going is "soft" to "heavy"....

I think she's great value and a decent, happy, youngster who clearly loves trains. I hope no one shows her the negative stuff on here. She also seems to have got some of the NR guys to talk to her as well. Chris
