  1. From the Railcam site this morning I know it’s Ribblehead not Arden Gill but it shows the prototypical accuracy of the current state of your build. D
  2. This tickled the chemist in me. I hope it does the same for our esteemed physicist
  3. The first “mood” shot is particularly good. I for one can see great strides being made.
  4. I can’t see what the livery is. There have been many pretty awful ones! D
  5. There must be some kind of time warp going on here! Picture 2, which shows the finished model, is out of sequence! I do like the back scene it’s nicely muted tones make it seem far away. D
  6. Sorry, Jeff but nothing about this build is either “ run of the mill” or “mundane” The ground works are really coming on and a coat of s*** brown improves the look no end. David
  7. I refer you to my post of last Friday morning. David
  8. I have recorded that statement...........just in case
  9. Lovely shot, that last one. beautiful gentle curve. Looking forward to the lunacy!
  10. Ignoring ( if you can) the connector the profile and colour of the 730 reminds me of the SPT orange 320 units. David
  11. It’s looking superb, Jeff. The subtle tones are spot on. I also think it’s an excellent idea to defer any further work until it’s in situ. With that in mind what’s next on your agenda?
  12. Any chance No. 282 will have an actual target date for No. 283? I’m also expected a renewal slip. If that’s not included I may have to start worrying, . David
  13. Superb images, Jeff No wonder you have patience to construct the viaduct. I shudder to think of the time taken to gather and process the data for these. As Mr Dury said “It's good to be a lunatic”. (pun intended)
  14. The loco certainly emphasises the epic scale. Unfortunately I couldn’t spot the “golden stone”, it must be on the other side! Brilliant Stuff David
  15. One happy convexist (I’ll patent that one!). Looking brilliant. David
  16. Will the next photos include a competition to spot the “golden stone” laid to signify the completion of the construction phase? First Prize - Nothing but a feeling of smugness
  17. I found this on the RailScot site. Taken during work on Ribblehead. I assume you are similarly attired when “at work”
  18. As with most of the recent posters I rarely tick “like”. I’d rather comment when I think I can make a useful (more or less) point. David
  19. A treat indeed! I’m not really sure why I prefer the convex curve. It just pleases my eye more.
  20. It just keeps getting better and better. Now to lob in a spanner...... Am I the only one who prefers the look of the curve from non-viewing side? Where did I put my coat.............
