You've done a lovely job!!! This is something Hornby could have easily done for an RTR model but their lack in being able to plan properly has taken them down. If they felt that we had a problem with a price they could have done two things - Check the price themselves, because we know for a fact that their models are over-priced (it's a hard thing to do, but if they do a good job and do their home work properly then they would know how to get a model to sell well) - Give us a quality product that was worth the price There are a lot of inconsistencies with Design-Clever. If you look at the 2BIL, 2HAL then DC has worked very well. Even the EP samples of the Drumond Class 700 looks nice. The P2 looks fairly good. The DoG could have easily been much better. The DC wagons are just OK and the Mk1s are pretty good for their price. Regarding Hornby's pricing strategy I have no clue about that. The 2014 releases of the Class 60 and 31 are 155 quid and more RRP.
