  1. How about some more track in OO.... something compatible with Hornby, Bachmann and PECO setrack. Off the top of my head... an express diamond crossing, larger curve points... track with concrete sleepers
  2. Maybe it's just the shade of blue.... after all these modern livers are too colourful with the red, purple, orange, yellow, maroon....... (a min later)..... the grey, pink and all that.
  3. Just a personal wishlist.... some may agree and some may not. But Dave gave us the opportunity to tell him about our wishlists (so please I don't need anyone saying this doesn't sell well etc. etc.) The point of a wishlist is all explained in the word itself. OO gauge - Class 90 - Class 87 - Class 92 - 100T TDA tank (there are quite a few variants) - Class 59 - Class 117 N gauge - GWR King Class - LMS Coronation Class - BR Std 6 Clan Class - Class 90 - Class 87 - Class 92 - 100T TDA tanker - KFA Container - Class 117 - 4wDM Sentinel O gauge - Class 56 - Class 67 - Class 66 - BR Std 7 - BR Std 6 - Class 121 - Class 122 - 4wDM Sentinel I've thought of as many as I could Dave Once again thanks for the chance. You have proved that your business is based on customer satisfaction as you communicate well. Cheers!
  4. Really very lame to disagree to. A few posts that are off-topic really don't hamper your personal wishes to see Sentinel's. If it wasn't meant to be taken serious it wouldn't have been there. Silly things to rate as DISAGREE really!!
  5. Thanks Dave, understood clearly. It's visible also in the images you posted also. It's almost like the type of coupling used on the Hornby Class 31, 56 60 and 67 AFAIK
  6. Sounds good Dave. What is different about the European NEM CCM? Any images of those types of couplings? Cheers.
  7. Curious to know what was there to DISAGREE in my post above hespertalbahn?? I can't think of anything to disagree with...very strange.
  8. Hi Mark, I am doing a few HO scale models. I will need to make my own bogies for them. Just wanted to know how do you fit your bogies to the models? Do you use a screw or does the bogie slip on and the you use a sort of cap/clip to hold it in place? Cheers, Jeremiah.
  9. The model will indeed be the Limby one. As promised I enquired about it and Hornby have said that it will be the Limby version. https://www.facebook.com/officialhornby/posts/10151734080100843?comment_id=27998341&offset=0&total_comments=1&notif_t=feed_comment Anyway sets aside... Lets get back to Sentinels
  10. Yup... sadly they made be. The Hornby version was OK, the bogies are more of a let down and some of the details around the duffer beam area. The Limby version is quite good apart from it's sad expression. Their release dates are quite close so maybe that's the case. It was a huge let down when the railroad Northern Belle turned up in a Hornby guise That's something useful. I shall enquire about it further and then post about it. Now lets get back to Sentinels!!!!
  11. What else was there at Wycrail? OFF-TOPIC: Looking at that set which contains the RES Class 47 (R1172 The Majestic Digital Set) I just wish they use the Limby Class 47 (with upgrades such as NEM couplings, DCC sockets. etc) instead of the old Hornby one.
  12. All these look stunning Rob, those minor faults don't seem to be of and problem if it doesn't hamper in the running of the loco. I think your pictures are better that the previous ones and really do look great. Gives us a good view on the STAR
  13. Its time to vote against "DESIGN-CLEVER"... It would have worked if it was consistent in their steam range . The 2BIL looks good enough. Now even I am little worried about the inconsistency as pointed out by many
  14. I also find that hard to believe. 68 shows on their website also. Maybe it was the volume of pre-orders
  15. I find the 67 better looking. But the Class 68 is surely not ugly in my eyes. I guess it's the new looks of the future.
  16. Is there any link online to see the announcement?
  17. I am very much excited by this.. Thank you for posting it. I remember Simon Kohler telling me about his great interest in the loco/model. If Hornby were to do it t the full capabilities (i.e. super-detail) then they would have made a great model. I am little upset that Hornby hadn't gotten it but seeing how they are currently, I understand. I heard the previous management made a lot of mistakes and ofcourse it can't be sorted in a year or two. Still now that Dapol is doing it I am very pleased. Looking forward to it eagerly. I'll probably go for an N gauge model.
  18. The images what I posted (I.e. the Kernow ones) are the real one.
  19. The Class 67 hit the shelves quickly. Kernow, RoS, Hattons followed Modelfair and Olivias...So the Star might follow soon... Kernow has it already.
  20. Thank you Jeff. I had a look at them. They are reasonable and indeed with a few modifications it would be nice. I however check for running qualities before the looks. The class 59 seems to have a ridiculously out of proportion snow plough but that is an easy fix.
  21. NOW AVAILABLE!!! R3166 GWR 4-6-0 "Knight of the Grand Cross" 4000 Class. https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10151709797065843&set=a.10150197267445843.309835.53107985842&type=1&relevant_count=1&ref=nf http://www.Hornby.com/shop/locomotives/steam-locomotives/r3166-gwr-4-6-0-knight-of-the-grand-cross-4000-class/
