  1. When mine arrived one had the curved metal plate rattling around in the barrel also.Just as I was wondering how to deal with it I tipped it up at one end and the barrel cap dropped off rather helpfully. Both have been glued back in place.
  2. Mine arrived yesterday. When I looked at the size of the box,I thought I’d got an O gauge model by mistake. It is very nice…..
  3. Mine arrived today too. They are an extremely attractive wagon and with the option to make a nice rake with the variants available. They are also very free running. So congratulations to Revolution and Rainbow railways.I hope these sell well and you will be encouraged to produce another chemical or gas wagon soon.
  4. Yes,and so would I.There are however several different variations of the larger polybulk which were used to carry grain. So on the basis so far not one manufacturer has taken the decision to produce any example, the question to Mc C is perhaps why does he think it remains on some of our wish lists and our prayers remain unanswered?
  5. Hello Ben & Mike,Can you advise on the length of a set please
  6. Mine arrived yesterday. So just to say thanks so much for a very nice wagon indeed.
  7. Will they need running in if they are coming by rail?.It looks quite a long way.
  8. Such sad news.My thoughts are with Gordon and his family. We all take so much for granted.
  9. Does anyone have any pictures that they could share please?
  10. One more for a separate pack of inners on the grey and orange livery please.Good sensible choice of wagon,by the way,I hope these are really successful for you.
  11. Well I have done.It became clear to me a week ago that for some reason Hattons have not been supplied recently by Bachmann.
  12. Yes it is ironic, isn’t it.I was only thinking the same yesterday.
  13. Yes,I am still patiently waiting.Seems a bit odd to me,a lot of retailers appeared to receive stock about a week ago but Hattons as yet do not .Maybe someone in the know can shed some light.I did ‘chat’ with Hattons on Wednesday and the reply was expecting ‘any day’.
  14. My five ,in no particular order PAA/PGA Covered hopper...British Industrial Sand PAA Grainflow BBA Polybulk Grainflow bogie wagon CSA Flyash presflo There are also chemical wagons, further steel wagons and ferry vans which would fill big gaps in my wish lists for the 1980’s....I could go on.
  15. Just wondered if any turbots were seen at Warley on the Dapol stand?
  16. Can I ask, where have you found this information?
  17. I spoke to Dapol at their stand at the GCR event earlier in the Summer, and enquired about any progress that they may have made on this long outstanding project. I was told that a wagon had been scanned and they at that time, were expecting to have something to show at Warley. So unless their plans have changed,I'm hoping to see something from them then.My guess would be that we may have a turbot from both Dapol and Kernow. If that is the case, then it would be interesting to compare one with the other as I've been patiently waiting to buy some for quite a while.
  18. Shame,I feared you may say that.Oh well I live in hope but won't hold my breath.
  19. It's very welcome to see a new venture formed with the intention to produce high quality wagons.I wish you both good luck and every success. One of the wagons on my wishlist in rtr form is the covered PGA hopper in white with the BIS livery.I don't have any knowledge to understand any differences between the open wagon proposed and those covered so can I ask, how far removed from what you have drawn would this wagon be,and in due course might this be something that you may consider?.You could count me in for alot of those if one could be produced.
  20. I would imagine you are over the moon with those buildings John.Howard has done a lovely job there for you. It all looks to be coming along very nicely indeed. David
  21. I think a big well done to everyone involved is in order, you should all be very proud of what has been achieved.I spent more time looking at BCB than any other layout at Doncaster. The layout has so much character about it, the elevated line, with its simplicity and the sense of space make it all particularly appealing to the eye. Shame about your running problems, but I'm sure there will be lots of fun trouble free times to look forward to in the months and years ahead. David
