I was born with a plastic spoon in my mouth.

It's about this time on any 'announcement day' that I lose the will to live with selfish, "I'm so clever", pointless posts and comments from people who can't be bothered to read information which has already been provided.

I'm working on a loco chassis whilst Madam is assembling flatpack furniture for her mam and dad, well she is a master joiner's daughter and knows how to wield a screwdriver..;..

Less than 3 weeks and the days get longer - can't wait.

Knowingly bought a 'non-runner, sold as seen' loco for an amazing price to use body parts, but a mint condition, dcc fitted example has turned up and I haven't got the heart to rob it for those spares now!

Picked up a couple of railway books for 6 quid in an antique centre yesterday, one of which I've been looking for for a while - Power of the Jubilees,

Memo to Self: Repeat after me - I must finish projects before starting new ones! (Just found 8 old locos in various states at back of the cupboard - mostly tender drive). Reassembly session and Ewhatsit I think.

I am now the proud owner of a pair of green wellies. I'll leave it to others to explain why.

Great weekend so far. Car is knackerd and a 50 minute drive to work tomorrow is now going to take me 2 an half hours on the train in the morning if i can get one half 4 in the morning which i cant !
