  4. Wonder if anyone could help ... Would like to know the livery of the Brush shunter (similar to D2999) that worked on test evaluation in Gloucester docks ? Any photos of the loco concerned would be welcomed. Am hoping to model this loco, from a Judith Edge kit. Cheers, Ian

  6. Hi, I have been wondering what modeller's views are on the best Class 45/46 (4mm) that are available ? I am hoping to create a couple of detailed 'Peaks' in BR green, which I would have professionally weathered. Just want to know what people believe is the best / better Class 45's that are available, Splitbox, centre panel etc, etc ? Bachmann, Heljan, Hornby or are there others ? Also are there any promised by companies ?? Many thanks, Ian

  11. Yes, both 10800 and 11001 above are kit built .... 11001 is a Judith Edge kit and 10800 is a Dave Alexander (RIP) kit .... Hope this helps ...

  15. Hope people will take the time to reply, simple question really ... How far South were the Clayton Class 17's seen ? Would like to know of any information of Class 17's working South, not really including the Clayton that was taken into Derby research Centre . Would just like any information on 'normal' BR Class 17's working South, sightings even if as light engines to works ? Many thanks, Ian
  16. This news is very good to hear. I was thinking about Steffan and Maindee East only the other day, I unfortunately also had no success in trying to recover the beautiful items I lost, 2 kit built County Class and a Ash Steam crane. Most upsetting and annoying .... Good luck ...
