Yipee I spent a few bob in the shop Christmas eve.

Just got in an hour ago 5hrs on the road from Kernowland, Bodmin to be exact Womblecocks/hens(Feckwits would be a better word for them) in their thousands on the road even SWMBO was having the odd scream at the #ankers (her words) we finally managed to overtake. I hope every one had a nice Xmas we did, waited on hand and foot in one of our favourite hotels enjoy the rest of your day All.

Our freebee local rag appeared through the letter box once in a blue moon then stopped all together then they started dumping piles of them in the local Horrisons store and now they have disappeared completely I wonder if Chrisf could sort that out. Well done Bob ( GDB )seeing the year out with injuries unlike you to stay out of harms way I bet Chris had a big smile across her face when the nut crackers attacked you. I'm now packing for the 4.5 hour trip to Kernowland tomorrow probably 6 hours with the amount of womblecockhens on the road at the week-ends.

SWMBO and I went shopping in Salisbury Tuesday the main Items were a new watch for HER and some paint for the many wagons that I have built in past weeks for me, I didn't know but that city has 8 shops that sell them yes we went from store to store in search of a watch unbeknown to me one she had seen locally, I got some paint in Salisbury Model Centre (nice little store) she came home with nothing, today she buqqered off out and came back with this watch she wanted. don't you just love them. Hatton's must be aware of what a rabble they use there are better couriers than that lot it's rock bottom prices they charge and Hattons discount is not as good as it use to be, the courier's becomes an agent for Hatton's once they take possession of the goods it can't do much for their business this time of year there has been more than enough complaints about them on here in the past, BTW your lot are not that good either tried them once never again out of politeness for you I didn't moan about.

I'd be on the phone to the sender giving them some serious ear-ache. Forgot to add, that's why I don't buy anything from Hattons it's about as good as they get this time of year using that shower of #hit courier company.

Rich I left a message on ANTB for you to save you hunting for it I have several Prairie's in bit's I'm trying to salvage as many as I can if you PM me a photo of any bits you need to get your up and running till some thing new comes along I will see what I can do for you, I would think I can manage most parts there's a complete wheel set with all the motion rods, pistons with slide bars, pony trucks without wheels and motor. You could say that about any loco that's not been produced new in the past 10 years I'd be happy with the Saint and at a push a Manor the County is way beyond my modelling period. BTW chaps Hornby did do an Insulfish there are some knocking about S/H if it's up to RTR standards people on here are happy with.

Does that YouChoos thingy make flange squeal noises ?, 5199 makes some hansom noise at Llangollen when running around it's train it reminded me of Southall shed when all the 61xx's & Panniers where coming home to roost in the evening.
