Between jobs on Porth Merryn and Pencarne this morning I've had another play with the TT to ensure I know what I'm doing with it, It certainly is sweet, and I'm now looking forward to laying some Tracks down and getting Track Power to it.

Well since going for a walk with the Dogs, I programed and aligned the Tracks from the TT, all is now good, there will be some Tracks to add to the other side later when the new Shed arrives, but at least I can throw a Wagon on and off from the various Tracks without and derailments.

All 3 racks to the TT are now soldered up on the Copper Clad Sleepers over the Baseboard join, in the pic above you see that the left Track is all one piece, this has now been cut and Copper Clad Sleepers installed under that one as well.

Next step on Thursday will be to test lay the Depot and Tracks.

Looks go thus far Andrew. Can I ask why you have used copper clad sleepers?

Regards

Scott

Thanks Scott, It's because there's a Baseboard Joint there, and also as the Tracks are on a curve it will give it more strength as well.

Cheers mate, its been a busy day (none Railway wise) today, but half an Hour has seen two more Points and 4 yards of Track laid towards the Main Depot, its not pinned yet and therefore not dead strait as I need to swing the Shed to the correct angle for room each side of it and also the angle of the Tracks off the Points, I hope to do some more tomorrow, (Club tonight) and pop up some pics.

Hello Buddy, Glad to hear you have started to fix some track down in our phone call this morning looking forward to some pictures...

Yes been madly busy soldering droppers onto the Track this morning, a MASSIVE short just now, then I realised I hadn't gapped the Copper Clad Sleepers on the Board joint. That's now done and sorted and I hope to get as far as the TT after Lunch.

Well after soldering and connecting what seems like 200,000 Million Trillion Droppers :O  I have finally driven a Loco from the Fiddle Yard, onto the Turntable, turned it and come back again. Just the Goods Yard at the back and the Shed Roads to put feeds to now, then for a full test over the weekend.

Having Exhumed the S & D Stock this morning it was time for a short running session, more play time later as I think Lee (vtrtrucker) is coming over this afternoon and Jeff, (Binney) tonight.
