P.C.M
Hi Al, I remember seeing them in green when I worked at Eastleigh. I found a pic of one in John Dedman's Wagon book. Cheers Peter. 1 1

I looked at a few on Paul Bartlett's site some look more green that others, some look more grey. Anyway just thought the pic might help. Cheers Peter. As useful as Paul's site is some of them are not the clearest of scans. As I said previously I wasn't convinced on the green, but there is a definite green hue to the colour. Back in the paint shop and a couple of coats of a charcoal grey. Much happier with this shade, another coat later and gloss and I should have some transfers in the next couple of days. 5

D6775
The Large Logo 37/4 has now had its transfers done and a first coat of satin Varnish sitting in the garage, the slightly different roof grey will disappear under a layer of dirt. And the VAA is finished, the vanish seems to have reacted a little with the roof, but again this will be getting a good layer of grime at some point. This was a quick and dirty project to mix up my VAA rake, I had four of the early bauxite vans which done this one there are three left at least two of which are also likely to get a lick of paint.

D6775
Seems VAA's are flavour of the month at the moment. The RfD one needs some dirt but I have made a start on a Bauxite Railfreight one tonight. This got a re-number at the weekend and this evening has had some dirt thrown at it. More to do on the roof but I am fairly pleased with the bodysides. Will need to dirty up a chassis too.
D6775
Not a lot more progress this week but the Bauxite VAA is back together, still not happy with the roof but its coming on. Also after a complete disaster, 37418 is now transferred up and adorned with its nameplates. Weathering next week and I need to finish the sound install. I'm waiting for the arrival of the VEA’s before I tackle my VAA, as I will then get to see how much of the roof I have to hack off lol

I have 8 VAA's but one will eventually be for sale when it comes out of the workshop, though I think I know where it will end up!
D6775
Finally got some numbers on my MEA. Hopefully have a few items off the WB over the next week or two in time for the Ellis Clark do at Skipton on 04/09. If I don't get them finished I will certainly have a few WIP items with me.

D6775
Just had a week off and was hoping to get a load of modelling done but it has been jam packed so not much progress. I will be at the Ellis Clark do on Saturday with a number of my wagon builds and a few other bits and pieces for MIOG. One wagon that I'll have done barring transfers and weathering is a few MHA Coalfish. I have just finished painting the yellow bands and the grey interior so will get them mounted on their chassis during the week.
D6775
Bit of time tonight after work and I have fixed the other seven bodies to the chassis. These will be going back to Cam at the weekend and will wait transfers and weathering. Apologies for the poor pictures, the light had already pretty much gone tonight!

D6775
A couple of other things that have been slowly working through the work bench the last couple of weeks. The Loadhaul Van will go back ion the box until I can get the phone number and data panel then this will be moved on. Shark is to go with my rake of Dog/Catfish but I have another to do in loadhaul at some point.
D6775
Might not be the best build in the world, but I am happy with it. Skog's carriage & Wagon Works 3D printed Shark. Augmented with Accurascale Buffers, Dapol Screw Couplings and Slaters Swan Neck Vac pipes. Cam is getting this one for dirt, but for now I am calling it done. While I had my photo booth out (still not sussed how best to use it yet) I took a few pics of stuff I had to hand: Edited September 13, 2021 by D6775

D6775
Been very little progress of late but the Wagon Shops have re-opened this week. We've had a couple of Brassworks HEA's in a state of disrepair for a while but they have never made it onto the workbench. This week Cam has given me a number of other wagons in need of some maintenance so a couple of things have been assessed this evening and parts ordered, but I have also made one good HEA out of the two needing repair. The other one will be a bigger job but should have it ready to go back to Cam for paint at the weekend.
