RMweb Gold The Pilotman Posted June 19, 2018 RMweb Gold Share Posted June 19, 2018 (edited) Not a great picture, but a lucky one, of Class 58s passing at speed and in the right place. Apologies for the quality but I was getting the hang of a brand new SLR and using print film. 58022 and 58030 pass Oxford on empty and loaded MGRs from/to Didcot, sometime in the early 80s. Owd Bob
These are the last of my badly scanned cl.58 pics' as my cheapo ALDI scanner has started to let too much light onto them. I have more 58 pics' on CD somewhere, and on 110 film negs' but i can't find a neg' holder anywhere to be able to scan them. I'll post more when i've sorted the probs' out.

Real locos, real units and bright (real) paint jobs. One day I will get round to makeing a SW division 3rd rail layout set in that time... 98.215.jpg 58015 comes down the Taff Bargoed Valley with a train of locally quarried stone for Tarmac at Hayes, 5th August 1998.
