Did I miss a page?

It has simply been nudged out of place. If you wait around here long enough, it will reappear.

For some bizarre reason I failed to notice this particular nudge.

As Noel Coward is said to have explained to a child why a dog was mounting another "The one in front is blind and the other is pushing it to St Dunstan's".

Being of a suspicious nature, I'd be more inclined to think that you've been saving this revelation until such a time as it becomes relevant to a topical discussion. ;)

Alas no. The dear little doggy loco was purchased yesterday and a few photos were taken to publicise the fact, proud Dad and all that.......... Then I noticed the faux pas..........and THEN I thought I know where I can pop this...........That odd thread where the nudger's hang out......

Morning Nudgers.

I have located another image with a hint of (at the time) un - noticed wanton nudgery.

Please note the droopy brake gear.

Taken some years ago, this horrific photograph shows the aftermath of allowing an inquisitive domestic animal to remain unattended in proximity to a layout.

This has to be the most extreme case of nudging I have come across.

The animal was removed and shot, of course.

Edit: some reference was made to cooking fat, as I recall, but for the life of me I can't remember why that was relevant...

Animal nudging was, presumably, in its infancy at the time. I'm sure there must now be training sessions available for domestic animals with nudging tendencies. You'd have to catch them early, though, because I've heard (and this may not be true, of course) that you can't teach an old nudger new tricks.

It pales into insignificance beside the picture Robert Hendry published of 16T B238031, with the complete headstock drooping and only retained by what looks like binder twine or similar. (p 10 BR Goods wagons in colour, R Hendry.)
