It will obviously be another OUTSTANDING show, details of the brilliant layouts that will be there will surely follow over the coming weeks.

No advert for this in the Railway Modeller although amazingly it is in MRJ before the exhibition has taken place. Things must be looking up in Didcot.

If Steve Vincent and Roy James pull their fingers and soldering irons out this will be the first appearance of the Cardiff 4mm Group's latest which is Pencader. For those of you whose reaction is WHAT?? Pencader was a station on the line from Carmarthen to Aberystwyth and the junction for Newcastle Emlyn. The layout won't be totally finished (my stunning footbridge included) but well worth seeing.

Watch for the traffic jams on the M4, you have a long journey bringing Sherton Abbas to the show so start off early.

What day are you likely to be there, Sully ?

Could possibly rv and hold an impromptu meeting of the Shirt (Hawaiian) Improvement  Team...............I could make a couple of badges but its a bit long. However,  I'm not sure about the abreviation either........I'm a tad worried about wearing a badge with S.H.I.T. on it.

And, apparently the horse carts on the layout are the products of the Upton Icon, a must see for all

Pencader will now be replaced by Ynysybwl. This is due to he Grumpy faction in Cardiff 4mm Group deciding they didn't want to put in a few extra hours.

The Cardiff group are a fine bunch and can justifiably be accused of all sorts of things............ though youth probably isn't one of them!:drinks:

We're there with Foxcote ably assisted by a local from the wonderfully named Splott. Looking forward to a cracking weekend,

Jerry and Kim
